P4P #2... Martinez or Mayweather?

nope vic and motiel wins were very far apart.....sergios last 3 fights pavlik-linear mw champ pwill-top 5 p4p fighter dar(however you spell it)-37-0 wbo jmw champ pavlik was coming off a loss to bhop prior to fighting sergio.....he looked like sh1t in that fight too.....the pwill win was a good win no doubt but it aint better than mntiel a 3 div champion , unified at bw,the best at bw, or darch a unified champion at 112 at that point , and a 3 div champ.. both were top 10 p4p when nonito fought them.......

my bad....i thought you were serious about sergio having better resume than donaire..... I am, although it's close. I haven't really studied the resumes side by side and done all the analysis that I need to in order to say definitely one way or another. I think people are out of their mind if they think one of those two has a better resume without a doubt... they are both stacking up a bunch of good wins, and there is no argument against that.

I have to disagree with you that Pac > Margarito is better than Martinez > Dzyna... Margarito hasn't done anything since getting slaughtered by Mosley... I agree that Floyd shouldn't be dropped due to inactivity... that takes a year... it just might be that people are catching up in terms of resume, since he fights so rarely, and other people are stacking up good win after good win, namely Donaire and Martinez.

2006 =/= 2010. It's also true that Margarito hasn't had a real consistent streak without losses since Floyd moved to welterweight. Santos in 05, Williams in 07, Mosley in 09. But hey, let's stop talking about the irrelevant past, and get down to the real issue. 2 more months will make a year without fighting... then he gets dropped. Floyd is still considered active... so where do you have him compared to Pacquiao, Martinez and Donaire. They really are neck and neck with the winner usually being the guy who fought last. I don't really know which way I'd go on it after last night. Martinez has wrecked three excellent fighters in a row. Mayweather has been quite inactive, but he did beat the lineal welterweight champion of the world in his last fight. Has the tide turned on this question in most people's minds? P4P #1 A and B - pac and martinez. P4P #2 - spot for pac OR martinez in the future if they lost P4P #3 - nonito donaire
