Cotto vs Margarito II - PLACE YOUR PREDICTION!!!

Margarito by late TKO. He showed even in taking a beating against Pacquiao that he is just as relentless, just as active, and has just as great a chin as he needs to do the exact same thing to Cotto he did the first time. Combine that with Cotto clearly not being the same fighter he was that night, and I have little doubt Margarito wins again.

I am sorry, but I didn't see the usual Cotto in that Cotto/Mayorga fight. Something is lacking. After reviewing the vid again and again, the tenacity isn't there anymore. Could it be because of Mayorga's style? I honestly don't know, but one thing I am certain with is Margarito>>>>>>>>Mayorga If this current Cotto faces Margarito again, the outcome will be the same... plaster or no plaster. Cotto punches Margarito in the teeth all night while Margartio plays El Gran Macho de California, and loses 116-110 Without the plaster mittens, I just don't see how Margarito cuts, and busts Cotto's nose up to the point where it hampers Cotto's breathing from round 2 on up like the first fight. :boxing: Exactly!!!! As I posted on another thread, I can see Margz being put away with a cotto recommitment to body shots only because of where we stand today. I've never seen anybody take the consecutive beatings Margz has taken since and including the cotto fight. The accumulation of damage spares no man. The Tornado has been primed to crack soon. If it wasn't for the severity of the beatings he received from Shane and Pac, I would have Margz winning a cotto rematch based on styles. I guess we can go either way on who has taken the most damage, but I give Margarito the edge due to how he handles cuts and bruises during a fight. I can see both getting cut up pretty bad in this fight, but Margarito will be the one continuously swinging while Cotto runs and potshots.

I see Margarito winning it because he won't stop letting his hands go. IMO Mayorga hit harder than Margarito, but Margarito will throw enough punches to overwhelm Cotto.
