I've seen how much Pac fans love Manny, the way they defend him, support him, they believe he is up there with Ali and SRL. Anytime u have a favorite fighter u are always nervous before they fight especially when its against the best. I like Pac and root for him in most fights but I have had no jitters with his previous fights cause his opponents were tailor made for his style or to be honest cherrypicked.
Pac fans around the world and especially on this forum put all this demand for a fight with Floyd but if and when it happens will u guys even be able to watch it? I think u guys are going to be sweating bullets, and might piss yout pants because Floyd aint no Margarito. In all honesty I can see another Hopkins-Trinidad type fight where the flag waving fan favorite gets an embarassing one sided beatdown. This is a high possibility when your facing Mayweather.
With so much invested in Pac I just see his fans emotionally incapable of watching this fight, they'll either turn away or turn it off.
I would have to disagree with you there. If you look at all the Pac-Floyd threads around here, you would see that it is the Pactards who are asking Floyd to find his urge to fight Pac, while it is the flomos who keep insisting that Pac still hasn't accepted Floyd's testing demands despite evidence to the contrary. Kinda ironic since flomos insist that this is an easy fight for their boy.
Bob Arum and Freddie Roach are true Pacquiao fans, they only put him in fights they are comfortable he can win, like every fight since Marquez. If they are just a little hesitant about an opponent they whip out their weight draining strategy. They still see Floyd as too dangerous, "oh we're not ready for Floyd yet," and they still aren't ready.
Ali's fans where scared for him to fight Goerge Foreman, they didn't want to see their hero beaten by big George. I have to question if Pac fans are really true fans, why are they so anxious to put their guy in a fight he probably can't win. To me a technical boxer is way scarier than a flat footed plodding brawler. Floyd doesn't just beat you he makes u look stupid thats the worse kind of loss for Pac right now, it would tarnish his credibility..thats why arum delays the fight, while he looks for opponents to make Pac look good, I hear Mayorga is next!

I'm going to enjoy Mayweather-Pacquiao because every punch Floyd lands to Manny's grill is going to be a punch to all the No nothing about boxing Pactards. Nothing against u, u a cool poster but its going to be fun to see an entire fan base get their feelings hurt. I hope HBO puts the camera on Pac's family and all the fans crying in the stadium, I Love It!! :bounce:
It's funny that you call Pactards as knowing nothing about boxing. Since 2007, no boxing expert ever believed that Pac could do what he did up to now. If you review old threads, you would see that some Pac fans even derided those few Pactards who liked Pac's chances against DLH and Hatton. Sometimes, being a know-nothing Pactard does pay off.
That's why you wouldn't see any crying, my friend. We've seen him lose by KO and by decision. Everything from this point on is only gravy for us Pactards.
Now, can we say the same for Floyd's fans if he should somehow lose his 0?
As a Pac fan, I can honestly say that I felt excited and nervous every Pac fight, especially before it starts. Yes, even with the Clottey fight. The nervousness ebbs after I realize that Pac has things under control and then I just sit back and enjoy the brutalization that follows.
Should the Mayweather fight happens, I probably will be nervous throughout the whole match until the winner is announced. No, I don't see Pac knocking out Floyd and vice-versa. It will most likely be a split-decision victory.
If Pac should lose to Floyd, or to anyone else for that matter, he won't lose his true fans since we never even thought that he would accomplish as much as he had in the first place.
Good for you! I can only post-and-run for a few hours a week at the most due to work. Can't even sustain an argument once it gets going. It's terribly frustrating to get back after several days and find that someone has made a rebuttal to your post. :)

Answer the question.
You mean the same promoter that Floyd fought for?
He picked Floyds fights right too?
Yes they are both cherrypickers.
That was easy.
I thought you said that Pac had been facing tailor-made opponents so his wins weren't that impressive? Now you say that he's doing something so unbelievable that only roids can explain it.
You guys really need to stick to just one if you want to sound credible.
They are tailor made for a guy who may be on PEDs, hence why he should prove he's natural
U think the drug tests are about Floyd, for me, I want OST for the same reason Olympic record breakers and homerun hitters are scrutinized. Pac is doing something never done before from a guy starting at his weight class. Thats more than enough reason to prove while preparing for a fight that your not using roids. I mean with comparisons to Ali, SRL, fighter of the decade, why not prove your clean, in case u dont know proving your natural is a good thing.

These flomos are real dumb and idiots. Why up to this point they didn't realize Floyd invented OST is FAKE! Real OST is all year round testing. Not within two months, 18, 14, 7 days cut off or no cut off! Floyd asked for just 2 months OST as he needs the ramaining 10 months of the year to clean his system from steriods and PEDs! at least I have some theories to support what I said. You see...why Floyd only fights once a year despite of good payday he will earn if he fights at least 3 times a year? because he needs 10 months to clear his system from PEDs he took left and right! Obviously the only way for Floyd to prove himself an innocent to my suspicious idea is... he must undergo to this real OLYMPIC TEST! Which is the all year round testing. You see...the Mayweather clan started this whole idea Pac is on PEDs because they can't believed a boy who started at 106 has been beating bigger men up to 150! but then frucking Mayweather clan and his idiot dumb flomos closing their eyes to the fact that Floyd and Pac both started boxing at the age of 16 weighing 106! and you must also add to the fact Floyd fought higher weight class (154 vs Oscar) than Pac (144.6 vs Margarito). While the flomos believed Pac is juicing because of this beating bigger men, Floyd get the pass because she is their queen!. Frucking hypocrite flomos!
I almost died from the irony.
Terrible excuse!!!
This isn't the Olympics. This is boxing. No such rules exist so its really on a voluntary basis.
ONLY FLOYD VOLUNTEERED!!!
ONLY FLOYD SAID HE WOULD CLEAN UP THE SPORT.
BUT Floyd hasn't been tested except for a few times during training. So its not OST.
Think about it, when do you expect Floyd will be tested again? It will ONLY be in training for his next fight. So that pretty much clears it up that its NOT OST. Get it?
Where is the excuse, what I state is printed directed on USADA's website. Athletes don't chose if they will be testing out of competition. That is in the USADA's hands and they chose the athletes to be tested out of competition. So, your babbling means nothing.
pac fans are like pac....modest, humble but never one to run away like chicken...watching pac win or lose is a delight for us....for he always do fight..really fight to make his fans proud of him...win or lose

See I cant be a revisionist historian, at the time I liked the fight with JMM cause it was a clear indicator that a Pac fight is next. Also, despite the weight difference I couldnt help but be excited about the 2 best skilled fighters going at it. In the end for Floyd, JMM was a tune up, for Marquez however it was the biggest challenge of his career. U never know in boxing, Leon Spinks was suppose to be a tune up for Ali, ended up beating the Greatest. Jmm is a great fighter, we thought he would likely lose to Floyd but no one predicted he'd be no challenge at all.
For the Floyd fight, the ONLY question was Floyd's inactivity BUT he always stays in shape/trains and young so that was not a big enough factor.
For sure, Marquez took it seriously. The thing is that he had to go real deep to beat guys at 135 that were not in at the same level as Floyd. So the move up 2 divisions was just too much. There was nothing that gave us the indication that Marquez can easily go up 2 divisions and beat an elite fighter in his prime.
Also, it wasn't just moving up 2 divisions that made this a near impossibility. Marquez was facing Floyd who was still in his prime and came in top condition. Ali was at the end of his career and was no longer the Ali of old. Ali was not in excellent condition either like Floyd, certainly.
Also, Floyd knew he still had to bring his A game since Marquez was still recognized as a top P4P fighter. Meaning, he didn't take Marquez lightly. Spinks was not a P4P fighter and did not have the same credentials at the PROs as Marquez, so Ali may have taken him differently than lets say, preparing for Norton, Frazier, ...... that's also why it was an upset since it was a guy who had little to show for at the PROs.
While it was considered a big upset, it wasn't the best of Ali. Not even close to that.
Summary: The point was that for Floyd it was a tuneup. Nothing more. Actually it was a disgrace of a challenge, if you ask me because there were so many WW to choose from but Floyd had to pick another guy below his WW division.
Also, for you to pick an upset such as you did to compare with just shows how unlikely Marquez was to being given any chance of winning against Floyd. Yes, if Marquez would have beaten Floyd, it would have been a huge upset BUT that's the point, right?
Will Pac Fans Even Watch Mayweather-Pacquiao?
What kind of a question is this?
Just another reminder from a flomo with his "be careful what you wish for" mantra. They hate it when fans are pushing for the fight. Throwing the ball on Floyd's court seems to be a crime to them.
Easy fight, easy money.
No one has to push for this fight except Floyd and his worshippers. Floyd would humiliate Pac in the ring, they say. Dumping roadblocks on the fight doesn't sound like they mean it.
I will take you at your word that that is how YOU feel about Floyd losing. For other Floyd fans it will be a lot different. You just have to read these boards to know what I'm talking about.
Like I said, there are a lot of Floyd fans who think this fight will be EASY. They are that confident. So if Floyd loses it will be much more of a shock to them. Manny fans have already experienced defeat and already know that it will be a very hard fight where their man will more than likely not be the favorite.
Will Manny fans be nervous, excited and hope their man wins? Of course but don't make it sound like Floyd fans will all be acting cool. Especially if Floyd starts losing rounds or gets knocked down during the fight. Just take the Mosley fight for example. Floyd fans were shaking, nervous, scared after that 2nd round. I didn't say that, Floyd fans posted it.
As for your villain vs hero stuff, if you are the type of Manny fan that you stated, it will not be that that will be on Manny's fans mind. They will just want their man to win.
By the way, Marquez was a tune up fight for Floyd. He even admitted to it! 99.99% of the time, when you bring up a guy who belongs 2-3 divisions lower you can't call it anything other than a tune up. If you don't call it a tuneup, people will criticize you, as was the case for Floyd when he started by saying Marquez at 147 was a serious opponent for him.
