I'm not saying I don't think Valero was a tough fighter because he was. But watching Rios pummel a better fighter in Acosta makes me wonder how a fight between Rios and Valero would've played out. It would've been a war. Damn. Probably wouldn't be happening now though because Valero would be up at 140 seeking bigger name opponents if he was still alive. Still a fight to put cream in your pants regardless.
I was pretty impressed by Valero's win over Demarco. The dude caught a elbow early in the fight, was bleeding like a stuffed pig and still beat the heard out of Demarco.
IMO Dermarco is completely overrated. This sloppy kid took him 12 rounds. Demarco ran like a girl...
I've never seen Demarco in a good fight...
And yes, Oscars camp kicked Valero out for sparring to rough with Oscar. Gave him a black eye.
Edwin Valero was on another level in terms of Boxing, he was literally on another level than the other guys around him, the only guy beating him would have been Pacquiao because he wasn't lucrative enough to land a Floyd Mayweather fight and Bradley too, I used to think Amir would win but if Maidana could do that to him then Valero would have decapitated him mid way threw the fight. Valero was very wild, aggressive yet awkward and unpredictable, he had 1 punch KO power and he threw from all sorts of angles yo this guy was literally an animal in the ring
for those of you scum ****s whom are happy he's gone karma is a ***** and it will come around on you, you should never take satisfaction in the loss of another mans life especially one who did nothing to you personally. there is no telling what REALLY did happen and I don't give a **** how you flip I think both he and his wife were both murdered by unidentified people, that's MY opinion though and even if he did do it I don't take pleasure in hearing that a life has been lost because there is no rebounding from that, he had a lot of people who looked up to him yo there were a lot of devastated kids and people in Boxing, there is no telling what really happened you closed minded *******s
He never proved he was on another level, he beat a few contenders (mostly fringe) and was never champion.
Don't let this performance by Demarco change your mind, he's a good fighter. Sanchez is the type of fighter that can make anyone look bad. He's awkward, sloppy and just smothers you with his body.

Readin some of you peoples comments just assured me that most of you don't know d1ck about boxin and are just talk out of your a$$. Edwin was a special fighter who probably had a 50/50 chance at beating pac. Demarco quit because he knew he was about to go to sleep! Rios would be demolished by valero and he would probably beat jmm, bradley, khan, alexander and ko marcos! And that's real sh1t right there!
You rip others for knowing jack about boxing then you claim someone like Valero would be have been 50/50 against pac?
:twak:
Valero's win over Vincenta Mosquera was his best win in my view. Not the one over DeMarco.
You're right, that was his best win. I guess people just creamed their pants when they saw that Valero has slick head movement when he fought Demarco.

Maybe because he struggled with a fighter who looked like he was in his first pro fight. How he was number two is beyond me...only it's not. These sanctioning bodies are pathetic.
He didn't struggle. He decisively won a tough fight, how does that minimize Valero's dominant win?
Valero died way before he even began scratching the surface of his peak. He would've destroyed Rios easily. Rios and Acosta are both bums and the weakest fighters at 140. Rios would lose badly to any of the top 140ers.
lol too bad none of them fight at 140 idiot
My god you people are stupid. How is Demarco less impressive after a win?

Its weird how they are the worst 140 fighters after never actually having fought at 140
Go back to doing what you do best and go troll in a Pac / Floyd thread because boxing is too much for you

Don't know 'bout you guys, but Valero's win over Demarco seems less impressive to me. | BoxingScene Community
