Sup guys hope your all good in the hood.
Just wanted someone to describe to me what YOUR feeling is to train day in day out and to put yourself through the pain that you endure for the sport we all know and love.
I want the pros and the cons. I was once told that the feeling a boxer goes through is like being it by a truck, and then having it reverse back over your body while you lie down. What is it that keeps you going back everyday to be put through painstaking training and being punched in the face.
No key board warriers that SAY they train for 23 hours a day but have never actually put on gloves and just tug the one eyed monster and call that training.
What keeps you motivated, and what deters you from going back to the gym.
What do you think keeps some professionals doing what they do instead of say getting a job in an office.
This belongs in the Training & Nutrition forum.
But for me, it's the pride of being able to do something you thought you couldn't do... your body says no, but your mind and will power is so strong that you override your body's signals and surpass.
Plus, there's truly nothing like punching / hitting others legally =]
I like training because i get to flex my muscles with the bros at the gym and then after we all whip each other with towels and ****.
Would not suprise me in the slightest...
Now for serious replies... keep them coming

It really only sucks maybe the first 3 or 4 weeks, once you get into some sort of fighting shape it still hurts and your tired of course, but it slowly gets less painful the more your camp progresses
being 18 years old and being an amateur with a record of 13-2-3 , i can sit back and say im proud of what im doing , theres no better feeling in the world than train hard in the sport you love , professionally or amateur ,
being a boxer you are different from other people , as they dont see it like you do , thats not to say theyre weak people just because i fight and they dont .. but its an art only we understand ..
training is apart of my life , i train 2 hours ,6 days a week after school afcourse , and my body aches most of the time , my arms get sore , my ribs are bruised , and my calves are numb , but its worth it cause im doing what i love ..
and theres no better feeling in the world that have good day in training , and come back and watch tapes of the old fighters..
