Dzinziruk has a good chance
I've only seen one of Dzinziruk's fights myself so I'm not sure if he'll be able to pull it off, but he fights tall with a piston-like jab, which is a very good foil to Sergio's hunched up frenetic attacks from the southpaw stance.
Regardless I still feel that stepping up in competition at an early age, if you can is important. People are quick to **** on Devon Alexander but look at what he has already done and experienced. At only the age of 23 he has won a world title, fought top 5 guys Kotelnik and Bradley too. He may of lost but it's great experience. I don't think there's any doubt that Alexander will be a great fighter by the time he is 28 or so.
Oh no doubt. Dzin and Martinez are two guys who I feel were extremely poorly managed during their primes (Bute is another.) As far as Alexander goes, losing early like this might end up being a good thing for him. And if he works on the flaws in his game, no doubt we'll be seeing a lot more of him on the world stage.
I'm not saying it, I'm actually asking to see what he thinks. When was Santos really out of his prime? He looked fine against Alcine and then got beat down by feather fisted Foreman. I don't think it's a stretch to say Santos was still a solid fighter when Foreman beat him.
Santos was inactive and weight drained for Foreman, among other things. Certainly not the same guy Dzin beat. At all.
Was Santos in his prime when Foreman beat him? Didn't Foreman kayo him? Santos is alright but I never thought he was that great. I don't know much about Dzinziruk, only seen him once on Shobox so we'll see what he has. I just think it be beneficial for Eastern Europeans to steer a bit away from the am's and turn their focus to the pro ranks at a younger age. I don't care how skilled you are, by the time you're 30, you've lost a step.
Say Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
He has never been in there with the worlds elite. This is one of my biggest gripes with Eastern Europeans. They wait till they are very old to get in there with the big dogs. If they tested themselves early they would be prepared for the very big battles down the road. I don't mean it as disrespect but majority of these E.E's are nearly 30 years old and have only 15-20 fights under their belt or have yet to be in there with the best. It's good to test yourself when you're young. Good learning experience.
He beat a prime Daniel Santos
