First two rounds are gonna be boring...they will try to feel out the conventional vs southpaw stance...Berto will try to see where he can land the right hand while he jabs, and Ortiz will move his head a lot while trying to find angles against Berto since Berto has a tendancy to square up...Either big right hand wables or bothers Ortiz and has him moving side to side trying to have time to recover, or Ortiz lands a nice crisp combo putting Berto on the canvas...That's how I see the momentum of the fight going...
this fight will be good IMO. Both have flaws in their games that both can expose. Both have a lack of good defense leaving them open.
could be good while it lasts
i seen victor ortiz on the amir khan undercard he looked impressive , ive watched andre berto and the fight was scrappy didnt really show what he got i guess but it was during that haiti thing
should be a good one
No, they both don't pull the trigger when the opportunity is there, so they'll be wrestling, fighting timid, and in spurts..
it's gonna be a sh!t fight, I could be wrong tho..
I actually like this fight. Ortiz belongs at WW anyway. He seems more fit for that weight and his power may be more relevant being he doesn't have to shed weight anymore. Berto's got speed and a crazy uppercut, but he seems less active when the opponent is letting his offense go (Collazo fight).
I'd pick Berto by decision though.
Yeah I feel Ortiz is going to test Berto though.
