You mean the claims that Hatton shamelessly ducked him are unjustified? Yes I do. Sure Witter chased Hatton for years, but Hatton was fighting much better opponents than him. His best win is a controversial decision over Kotelnik. Outside of that, it's Vivian Harris. Once Bradley adjusted to him, he got smashed. His hypetrain was out of control. People hopped on his bandwagon just because they believed that Hatton was ducking him. People did this with Caballero, Cloud, Margarito, and every other fighter who was once claimed to be ducked by some fighter. Dont get me wrong, I think some people actually did like Caballero and the others, but it was Witter who had the most people just jump on because Hatton was "ducking him"

I get both sides of this argument. The witter fight is a joke, but Khan did try to fight somone very suitable (Peterson, who appears to have priced himself out after getting lowballed). Let's be realistic, a fight against Prescott would have probably been too risky with a Bradley fight waiting in the wings. Prescott is a lot worse than Maidana though and Khan would probably beat the **** out of him this time around

Prescott hasn't helped his case towards a rematch by losing twice since the Khan fight and fighting clubfighters since his move up to 140. Khan just proved the haters wrong by fighting Maidana, now his crosshairs are on Bradley. Prescott has made himself irrelevant. Junior Witter has lost 2 out of his last 3 fights. Prescott has won 2 out of his last 3 fights.

Witter is a way better fighter than Prescott. Witter was a really good fighter when he was younger. He never really got the credit for how good he was. He didn't get the credit he deserved because when he stepped up against good American boxers, he lost. Judah, Bradley, and Alexander. All good American boxers, these 3 boxers have never shown to be great, at least not yet. He lost to all 3 of them. I think if he would have at least beat one of them, he would have been given more respect. Don't get me wrong, a win over Kotelnik is good, Kotelnik is a tough fighter but he's also just a good fighter, nothing great. His wins over shot Harris and Corley combined with the Kotelnik wins, are his best feats in boxing. Judah handily beat him, i'm talking about wide UD. Devon stopped him, Bradley dropped him and beat him in the UK. He always wanted a fight with Hatton but he just never deserved it, now Khan was going to give him a free pass without Witter doing anything to deserve it but HBO being strict lately, luckily that shit matchup isn't happening.

I can understand your perspective but honestly I just think Khan doesn't want to give this dude such a big pay day when he can go fight anyone even else for much more money. when I told Horus the other night on his show about fighterts not ONLY fighting for money I meant that but then again money IS in the equation, some fighters don't give a flyin **** about the money but they wouldn't do it for free so the money IS still a factor and for a big name guy like Khan he wants to put his lucrative status against someone who can give him the same in return and Prescott cannot do that.
