If Pacquoia Vs Mayweather happened today who would win

"Improved" Pac didnt throw 1000+ punches against Marquez, why? because he was getting countered. Manny eats Floyds straight right all night and loses a UD.

I believe Pacs workrate and awkward style, and how floyd will effectively counter will decide the outcome of this fight. In predicting the outcome of this fight, I am tempted to look back at the Floyd/Castillo bout. Castillo's workrate was effective against Floyd. Let us forget for the meantime who won that bout since it is debatable. The statistics of that fight are very revealing. Both fighters were just as accurate with power punches in the first nine rounds (Castillo, 44% vs floyd, 43%). Castillo however, had a huge advantage in power punches that landed, 98 power shots out of 228, to Floyd's 37 of 87. Castillo's higher work rate was effective. That fight however, was years ago and Floyd has morphed into a defensive wizard since... But so has Pac morphed into an offensive wizard.. Manny has gotten so much better... Pac is better than Castillo in every aspects. I honestly believe he is way faster than Judah and Mosley. Pac is the fastest fighter Floyd would face. Furthermore, he is a southpaw with awkward style and the best combination punches. He is very hard to timed because he has no rhythm. His past opponents common statement after the fight is they can't see where the punches are coming from. In addition, Pac stamina is superb and is extremely active throughout 12 rounds. Right now, I am leaning towards Pac due to the above reasons. Of course, this is only a matter of opinions, and I respect everybody's opinion here. :boxing: Nice... green coming up

To the OP, i think Floyd thinks Pac would win. That is why he asks for a warm up. Nows he had two warm ups, but he takes another year or so off, so he will need another warm up. Our hero had two tuneup fights as well. I'm still pumped up for his third tuneup against Mosley because he's gonna beat him more convincingly than Feather-fisted fraud did to prove a statement.

Can Floyd avoid 10-20 punches combination? manny never threw 20 punch combinations. the most is prob 6 7 against walking heavybags like cotto. show me where he landed or threw more than 5 6 against marquez who would jsut take half a step to the side or back that leaves manny off balance to be countered lol mayweather isnt cotto clotty diaz or any of them slowfooted defenseless fighters

I alway thought Pacquiao would win, I thought so when Mayweather was still a fighter and I think so now.

manny will look good for the first 3 rounds while floyd move around looking for a rythm. he will land the harder shots and some underrated shots to the body many dont notice but manny will outwork him winning maybe 3 of the first 4 rounds. floyd will continue to jab manny to the body and shooting lead rights and when manny lunge and floyd comes under he will shoot shots to the body. manny will try to lead his lead left but is counted with a hook pivot aka check hook which will drop him because manny is always on 1 foot when he throws his lead left. floyd will win a decision.

Floyd was taking a beating for the first 4 rounds against Mad Zab and only because Uncle Roger told him to take the fight to Zab because Floyd was too slow to counter Zab. Floyd slows down pacs work rate by at least half if not more. Logical minded boxing fans will understand how counter punching works and im not going to get into any arguments with idiots over how counter punching nullifies offense. floyd controls the fight from round 3 onward. pac gives us an exciting 3 rounds, maybe he trys to to go all out in the 6th and the 11th or 12th but gets shut down faster than he does in round 3 as accumulative damage has taken its tole. floyd by wide ud or possibly late stoppage over pac but i wouldnt bet the farm on that.
