Of course he quit. He needs a new trainer, it still may not help, cause I don't think Devon has that "Dog in him"
Frank Chao is ashamed of himself. 2nd Fight he's ever fell asleep to.
imo he quit, he somehow thought that he may have been ahead in the fight and took the easy way out, funny that the side that was hit late on showed no marks whatsoever LOL and his stinging line was cringe worthy, hes got the heart of a warrior alrite, a warrior sheep!! Then he blames the ref for stopping the fight?? Dude you were crying and crying the stinging the stinging and making those noises, what did you expect was gona happen, oh yeah exactly as you wanted, the fight to end, puuussssyyy boy
He was definitely frustrated by the headbutts and overreacted on the last one and took a rather easy way out... Might be due to his youth or a general character thing, impossible to say.
What I think is even more important, doctor and ref did a very poor job there. Should have just told him that they give him 5 minutes and then they could have went from there...
I agree with this. It frustrates me as a fan. I wish Alexander reacted more like a champion and pleaded for 1 more round or even went out there and threw an elbow or low blow at Bradley to make it clear that he's not putting up with the headbutts. Don't pull a Tyson but don't go out like this. There's a big difference between quitting because your injured and quitting because your hurt. If you quit because your hurt, you don't belong in the ring, and don't deserve to get paid. Alexander needs to get a job that don't involve fighting like the rest of us.
Alexander is a straight quitter. Hes a 'Champion' and he shoulda went out like a champion but instead went out like a p*ss. This reminded me when Cotto fought Clottey and Cotto's cut by his eye is wide open and blood was getting in it and was clearly bothering him but continued to fight like a Champ would. Alexander is a p*ssi.

I see you have a raider sig. Did you ever play football? If not I bet you could still tell me what a pulling guard is, or a slant pattern or that your owner is tied with my owner for most obnoxious old guy in the nfl.
Hell what level of football did bill belicheck play? He was coaching at 20 and is among the best in the biz. All I'm saying is it doesn't take extensive playing experience to understand a sport. It helps but is a non issue to me.
As for myself, I have never had a fight in the ring. I have been in the gym hundreds of times. The same gym as the man in my avi. It's my local community center. I know the sport........:boxing:....and I love it. Almost as much as the sport I played for over 20 years
Once again, co-sign.
I know exactly where you are coming from.
I for one very rarely put my info out on the internet...Why? Cause who really cares? I know I don't (about what anyone says or does)...That's why I was about to edit my post to assassin, but I didn't.
I'm not out to prove anything on this site, or the internet for that matter, but I have followed the sport (pretty much all my life), know the sport, done the sport (and still do) and support the sport and it's fighters...If I find something funny, or fishy, then hey, it is what it is.
I also agree with your football comments...Great examples.
Bold: That's all I'm saying...
As for the rest of your post, I completely agree...Except for the rooting for Devon part. I was going with Bradley all the way!

Alexander is complete b*tch.
Kotelnik kicked his ass and got robbed, and now Bradley kicks his ass to a lesser extent, but still kicks his ass, and Alexander the Not-So-Great bails on the fight.
Somewhere in Ukraine, Kotelnik is laughing.
Exactlyyyyyyyy
Yeah, he wanted out. It was hardly a subtle performance either. Maybe he thought he was ahead on the cards? His corner did seem to be giving him nothing but positive feedback in between rounds...
he quit, you clown.
he did not want to go back out and fight. thats why he kept making all the hoopla, screaming, about his RIGHT eye being hurt when it was his LEFT eye that ran into bradeys head. then he finally complains it was the left eye during the interview.
hes a quit. he was frustrated and im not sure what he was doing throwing all those half punch bs combos. while bradley was cool, clam, collected and stalking the whole time
but you are a pactard so being logical and truthful isnt your forte
LMAO!!!!
Man you are a crazy dude! I understand who you were quoting, but I had my fingers crossed that you could finish a post without using that word...:fingersx:....:pat:Then it happened...
First yes he deserves respect as a pro fighter. It's hard. That being said I think it's moronic for someone to say you can't have an opinion unless you have boxed. I never boxed for pay, but I made money in another sport. The best coach I ever came across never played proffessionally. That argument is lame.
Being a pro deserves respect but also demands standards. A pro fighter doesn't scream in the ring for minutes.............aaagh, aaagh, ouch. It's undignified and beneath a champion. You get punched in the face for a living, don't ever yell ouch owww or anything similar. We understand it's painful but it's his job.
Devon quit. It burns, my a$$. He got hit in the left and said he couldn't open the right. Too bad because the pre-fight feature had me almost rooting for alexander. Great kid pulled a dumb move. Hopefully he'll be back

he didnt quit because of the cut, the other eye without the cut was still burning from a headbutt.
So he quit because his other eye without the cut was "burning "from a headbutt?hahaha
nice..
Yes.
I've seen far worse cut than Alexander had,and they continued on..
He QUIT!!
No MAS!

im proud of the fact that i boxed, i dont think it makes me better than anyone else though. i do think the ppl who dissrespect fighters online are assholes though, not to mention cowards. perhaps u are not, but u know im right when it comes to most e-warriors.i simply advice they should practice what they preach, thats all. i dont talk about how easy it is to run a marathon cuz i never did it, if i did u cant blame a marathon runner for telling me to back up my words or stfu.
forget being a boxer, im a boxing fan. one whos sick of the e-warriors. lets leave it at that, dead the argument and move on.
I happen to agree. I still think the situation was funny though, that will not change.
Now, you came off wrong from the get. All you had to do was ask "hey, have you ever boxed before, or been in that type of situation"??
I would have said "Yes", I boxed for about 3 years, and wanted to try and make it my life. I didn't have the support of my family though. So that dream died.
I have been trainning and sparring for about 6 years now that I have been grown. Not trying to be a pro, just for the cardio it provides, and just to keep my **** together.
I never said I was a pro.
I never call boxers cowards, ever. Check my history.
Now this is more than I would like to disclose about myself, but I felt the need to set the record straight. Yes, I know how hard it is. Sh*t was still funny!
I have all the respect in the world for boxers at the top level but it look like Alexander did force the doctors hand in this, The class of heads happened on the other side of his head so i was surprise he didnt feel like he can continue or see.
