Joe Calzaghe is definitely the all-time best Super Middleweight.
He's also probably the most underrated boxer of all time as well, not given the respect he deserves because he's not an American and because he's White.
I rank him easily in the top 25, arguably in the top 10 ATGs. He was the linear champion in two weight divisions and had an incredible number of successful title defenses at 168.
This will be my new sig :rofl::rofl:
Paul spadafora is 45-0 should he be in the top 10 aswell hahaaaa mayweather is 41-0 fought great fighters after his 17th fightand isnt in the top 5 never mind bum clazaghe in top 10 hes in 100-200 and paul is about 500-1000 hahaaa
Please dont mention Ali in the same sentence as Joe Calzaghe. Joe is the ****ing GOAT, and Ali is an all time retard, punch drunk, coward. His current condition is a physical manifestation of a lifetime of cowardice. Knocked down by natural light heavies, winning robberies and fixed fights, refusing rematches and relying on mental games prefight, geography, and faulty equipment to win fights. He still lost 5 times, got his jaw broke, quit on his stool, and engaged in some completely shady tactics outside the ring. He was managed by genius's, but he himself was just a pawn, an above average fighter who was mentally retarded and now is just a prop wheeled out to sporting events.
I have reported this bait-thread and asked for it to be closed.
.
LOL. I think it's funny bait thread. Weird comments, angry posters and cornball wigga rap songs? Ahh, the height of NSB!
I know you are just kidding around but Hopkins was a razor thin split decision(could have gone either way), Jones was shot and 40 years old(this win is about as "good" as holmes's win over muhammad ali), Lacy was nothing special to begin with don't mind the hype what did he acutally ever accomplish?
Kessler was a medicore euro fighter, nothing special.
Eubank was past prime and at the twilight of his career.
26 world title fights
46 and Oooooooh
Now he's reached his legacy
Its time to close the shoooooooow
Nobody defeated Sven Ottke either. I guess he's an ATG too huh? What about Zsolt Erdei, 32-0? Or what about Julio Cesar Chavez Jr 41-0 and he ain't even a world champ yet and he's only 24 years old I guess by your logic he's an ATG too? JCC Jr might very well end up with an undefeated record with over 50-0 or maybe even 60-0 an over, this is because he's a coward who will never fight anybody with a pulse but hey I guess that don't matter because he's undefeated?
Ottke lost a few fights.
From Hopkins, Jones to Lacy.
Those Yankees have been tamed.
His status as a Legend.
Finally has been gaaaaaaained.
:hail: Gonna miss him when he's gone
He is not even in the top 100. His resume is mediocre at best, nowhere close to being classed as an ATG never mind top 10 ATG. Resume is all that matters, records don't. Calzaghe hid in the UK and defended his belt for a decade against ****ty opposistion. Lacy and Kessler are his best wins :rofl::rofl:
And don't take this the wrong way. You Brits have plenty of fighters to be proud of but Calslappy just ain't one of them. Nigel Benn should be ranked above Calzaghe legacy wise because his resume is better and if Carl Froch keeps doing what he's doing then he too will have a better resume and therefore be greater than Calzaghe.
