I hope Floyd just does the Pac fight and then retires. With his inactivity, as well as his "young man style" losing effectiveness with age, I just have a bad feeling that if that fight happens against the 35 year old Mayweather of 2012 that it will be another case of a down fighter getting caught by a fighter coming up. Granted that Floyd SEEMS to have lived a good clean life unlike Whitaker was. Hopefully I am wrong and he is able to go the route of B-Hop to still be able to compete at a high level as he ages.
I can take the Whitaker & Mayweather comparison, but Khan & Trinidad. Nope.
Anyway, even though Floyd got his number over Khan ten folds, don't see Floyd having the courage facing Amir.
Agreed. Thats why I changed my stance that the Whitaker/De La Hoya fight would probably be more accurate of a comparison than Whitaker/Tito. I could see the fight going more of that route where Mayweather does enough to win but they hand it to the young upcoming fighter ala Whitaker/DLH, Taylor/Hopkins, etc.

If Khan progresses I think he will definitely fight Mayweather in the summer of 2012. Mayweather wants to fight once in England before he retires and I can see that fight being made.
If Khan unifies 140 and has one or two good wins at 147 then he will be in with a shout of beating Mayweather in 2012.
lmao ur gif naz was a fool....
Floyd should take the khan fight in England now. Floyd will always be criticised for not fighting outside his own country like most great boxers do like Ali, SRL, Hagler etc.
He had too many home comforts. What better time to fight khan when Khan is still raw and WIP?
I'm not sure if Mayweather would want this fight in a year or two. Khan is a high risk...
I think he will rather take on khan than the midget. I believe he thinks that midget is the highest risk of all. If he does agree to fight khan rather than the midget, his rep will definitely plummet further. My opinion.
If he chooses to fight Pac and the result is close... a trilogy will ensue and huge$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for both. A total of $150M for each should be enough reason to face each other. This is the better route for floyd to take.:boxing:

Naturally, Mayweather's legs aren't quite the same in his mid 30s as in his younger years, but they are far from gone, he still has his reflexes, and is bigger and physically stronger than before.
More importantly, his footwork, defense, accuracy, versatility, ring IQ, technical skills, etc...are all much better than that of Khan.
Trinidad had considerable advantages over Whitaker in natural size, height, and reach, in addition to hitting like a mule. While Khan is taller than Mayweather, Floyd has very long arms/wingspan.

Weak comparison. Whitaker made you miss- Floyd makes you miss and hits you 3-4 times. Trinidad got dropped but got you and whoop your ass. Khan gets dropped and you gotta pick him up. LMAO ¡
Whitaker is pretty close to Mayweather
But Khan wouldn't hold Trinidads Jockstrap.
Money wins this.
This right here, Khan would be more like DLH without the chin
Actually Khan is like 5'10 and anyone who has seen Mayweather in person will tell you he is only like 5'6-5'7 so the height difference is pretty close. IMO, I think Floyd is starting to lose his legs now. I could be wrong, but we will have to see in his next fight whenever that is.
I doubt Mayweather is 5'6 or 5'7 because these guys usually are measured. Besides Juan Manuel Marquez is 5'7 and Mayweather looked significantly taller. Im not sure about Floyd losing his legs becuse he fought Mosley flat footed. He also fought N'dou flat footed and De La Hoya so weve seen him stand his ground against opponents before. Besides Khan is no where near as durable as Oscar or Tito were and Floyd has more power than Whitaker had.
Pernell was 5'5 or 5'6 and Tito was 5'11, the size difference wouldn't be that big in a Floyd-Khan fight. Whitaker also didn't have the power to hurt Tito, but I think Floyd actually could hurt Khan

I'd love to see it.
I wouldn't mind him coming over here and smashing up an overmatched opponent like Matthew Hatton either to be honest.
Haha that would be brutal!

Come on people! Stop trying to match up Khan against Mayweather. Khan can not compete with Floyd now or in the future!! Khan is not an Elite fighter IMO, he is a class B fighter and thats it!!
I think you are right about him being worried about losing his '0'. But, if Mayweather is true to his word that he wants to fight in England before he retires, really Khan is the only fight which would make that happen.
I'd love to see it.
