All top guys, much better than Briggs.
Vitali is the only one targeting such a large % of fat guys!
First off Solis is his mandatory. I'm pretty sure you were already aware of that. Secondly, of those four on your list, Sultan is retired and has been since Vit's comeback. Again, I'm pretty sure you're aware of that. Thirdly, Povetkin is a massive pussy who doesn't want to fight anybody. Fourthly, Adamek is already lined up to fight one of the two later this year so I'm not sure what your point is in mentioning him.
You won't find me defending the Briggs fight, or the Sosnowski one before that, but to criticise Vit for fighting Solis, even if Solis is too lazy to get himself into shape, is absurd and unfair, no?

No way Povetkin is below that line.
The BMI is a highly flawed statistic. It doesn't take into account heavily muscled individuals. For example, any respectable doctor would not say Lennox Lewis was obese during his career, even the Lennox who showed up out of shape for the Vitali fight. A better indicator of obesity would be a combination of height, weight, waist size and body fat %. That being said it does seem Vitali selects grossly out of shape opponents more often than not. Whether that is on purpose or due to the sad state of the heavyweight division at the moment is open for debate.
Over 25 is considered overweight, so pretty much everyone on that list is overweight. BTW morbidly obese is over 40. These systems are flawed.
BTW Solis weighed in at 246 lbs, in comparison Tua weighed in at 247 against Lewis and Solis at least 2 inches taller. Solis will be a lot fitter than against Austin.

povetkin doesnt wanna fight
wlads already beat-sultan and chambers
adamek is coming up for on of the bros
Solis won a mando spot he has to fight him or be stripped, and Briggs was not fat in their fight he was just heavily muscled.
to be fair, the thread title says obese, and technically Briggs still counts.

Odlanier Solís is his mandatory. He has to fight him.
Odlanier Solís is probably his best opponent as of late.
Please name a few guys below the line he should have fought.

No.
He can't control how heavy his opponents are. I think overall, the HW division is just lazy.
He had a pretty good idea Odlanier was going to be overweight based on his last three fights...
*260
*268
*271
270 for a man that short could be fatal. This is not healthy at all.

^^^This guy is a disgrace to the human-form.
But credit to Vitali for respecting his own body and the sport at age 39.
