If this news came from the mouth of a Maywather then I am quite certain this was done for a purpose.
I think they are floating the name of Spadafora to see the boxing fans reactions to this possible tune up fight for floyd.
The fans have spoken and their message is crystal clear...
Sure, this guy and Floyd have a lot in common.......

A son of a crackhead against crackhead....the irony.
Spadafora the past his prime fighter that has been in and out of jail and has a severe drinking problem? The mediocre lightweight that peaked ten years ago as a so-so champion? The guy that is inactive and basicly retired?
Wow this will smash rumors that Mayweather doesn't fight southpaws. lol
dude. why are you acting like this came from floyds mouth. its the same when people ran with the "floyds going to fight paulie, rematch hatton or fight mathew"
Exactly ,,, another M Hatton rumor lol , Floyd will not fight anyone outside of an elite and he will not fight Spadafora , only a fuken empty head would think he would , his last tune up was with the current P4P 2 that came of great wins and the fools talk Spadafora lol , only the biggest names for Floyd .
interesting tuneup my ass. you talk as if hes getting out of retirement when hes not so theres no need for this stupid matchup. i say make floyd fight martinez
Well he is a southpaw, and by Floyd Sr mentioning the name before anyone else (the guy who admitted that he doesn't like Lil Floyd fighting southpaws), its clearly a sign that he wants to prepare him for Pacquiao. I'd be fine with this fight as long as it was like a two fight deal with Berto or something so Floyd doesn't try any stupid s**t.
I'd like to see him fight Spadafora, then Berto, then Pacquiao, then Martinez, and then retirement. If he goes through those four and remains undefeated, then he's without a doubt one of the best fighters who ever lived.
Yup,the weakest acceptable fighter is Berto, boxing fans should accept nothing less from this dude.I keep telling his fans, they have no right to criticize Pacman, but they're hard of hearing.
both sets of fans need to shut their mouths
I know Mark, there are many posters who didn't follow boxing in the early 00s when he was on the cusp of something and blew it.
but seriously, this fight won't happen.
no way this fight ever happens.
floyd forgot to tell us that his 5 fight comeback plan has a name,
"Unfinished Business"
He got Shane, next up is Spaddy, then Cassmayor, and the coup d gras is Stevie Johnson coming out of retirement.

Man,if Floyd really fights this dude,I is so full of ****.Lemme guess he's gonna try & have this $hit on ppv too right??Wow,him & his twin are soooo full of $hit.

The spadafora video clearly shows floyd's inability to deal with the straight left lead and the right hook over the top of the jab from the southpaw stance, no wonder he avoided Manny.
Your not serious.
I take that with a grain of salt..
But if a tune-up figh tis to be made (and there is nothing wrong with a TRUE tune up) then Id much rather see Floyd fight Saul Alvarez; or at least someone that is a live wire and could make spending $65 on a ppv scrap justifiable. No way in hell should Mayweather-Spadafora happen, let alone be on PPV... PEople would boycott the hell out of Floyd for that move.
Paul Spadafora...now?
:lol1:
Yea, alright. I wish Floyd would go that route!

I laugh at this little posts man. Every southpaw (they were not better than Manny by no means) Floyd has faced he dominated.
