Wladimir is one of the best jabbers. Remember what happend to Lewis when he boxed Tucker, Bruno, Mercer and Rahman. Wlad would outjabb him, but Lewis may crush hes glass chin
I'd favor Lewis, but the poll was so ridiculously lopsided, I threw Wlad a vote. Regardless of who would've won, Wlad called Lennox out in Mar 2001 and Lewis didn't want none.
Go to 3:10.
bad timing, lewis lost to Rahman, so he then had to rematch him, then had a monster pay day against mike tyson, then Wlad lost.
Had Lewis not lost to Rahman, who know, he may (or may not) have fought Wlad
mna, people act like lennox was looking like kirk johnson vs vitali.
vitali v lennox prime for prime is and will always be a great, close fight. wlad, not so much.

Why do most Klitschko fans on here have an obsession with boxrec and thinks it's stats proves one fighter better than another?
Answer = Because it's the same person with 100 accounts.
Indeed. hweightblogger ranks Wlad above Ali
Don't invent stuff.
Every post of his proves how new to boxing he is. He probably started folowing it a few weeks ago tops.
With such a wrong assessment it's no wonder that you think that records don't matter.
You haven't posted anything factual either because records, stats and numbers does NOT prove who is the better fighter or who has the better resume.
Lennox Lewis has by far the betters resume and no matter how many stats of who has faced guys with "better" records or heavier opponents is not gonna change that.
Records/Stats/Numbers/Weights has no impact what so ever of how GOOD a fighter is.
What a nonsense is this? You mean a fighter with a 80-1 record could be considered worse than a fighter with a "1-80 record but who has good footwork"? Give me a break.
It's actually the other way around: STYLE, TALENT, REFLEXES etc are completely irrelevant if they don't trickle down as RESULTS (= WINS, KOs). Thus the record tells 90%-95% of the story whereas your subjective feelings and memories ("Wow, what a combo!") are irrelevant. A fighter can throw as many beautiful combos as he wants. If he loses he loses. Boxing is not a style contest.
By the way, here is opinion of the man, who have trained both Lewis and Wlad, Emanuel Steward: "Lewis was a more versatile fighter (than Wlad), he could completely restructure the course of a fight. I worked with five world champions in the heavyweight division, including Evander Holyfield. And I will say that Wladimir 's body of work and his coordination is better than all the rest of my students. However, sometimes he must act more aggressively. Sometimes he thinks for too long".
But at the same time, Steward says that Wlad hits harder, than Lennox: "Never, ever, ever have I been involved with a fighter who has so much one punch punching power. Even guys that knock somebody out—they get them hurt, they knock them down, they get them groggy—Wladimir is the only fighter I’ve ever worked with that everything can be normal like a big party—everybody is having champagne, on the floors, in the tuxedos, with the music—and the lights go off completely at one time. I mean it’s not like a gradual dimmer switch. I never saw anyone who knocked out people in a gym when they block punches and he did that about three weeks ago with a sparring partner—two weeks ago, prior to the fight. With a sparring partner he threw a left hook, the sparring partner blocked the punch and with twenty ounce gloves he was still knocked out. He has unbelievable one punch punching power"
And so does Phil Jackson, who fought both Wlad and Lewis:
"Malinowski: More powerful than Lennox Lewis would you say?
Phil Jackson: Yeah, most definitely. Yeah.
Malinowski: What hand? Right hand?
Phil Jackson: Both. Both. Put it this way...if it would have been him in there when his brother fought Lennox Lewis, I think he would have dropped Lennox Lewis. I honestly do. I think he would have dropped Lennox Lewis - if he would have been in the best of shape".
It's not my words, it's words of trainer, who trained both Wlad and Lennox, and words of the fighter, who fought both of them.
I think, Lewis was a great fighter, but to say he would destroy Wlad like he did it with Michael Grant? LOL! Wlad is 10000000 times better than Grant! :boxing: Grant was destroyed in 43 seconds by Jameel McCline, so McCline should've KO'ed Wlad in 1 round, I guess? (Wlad stopped McCline in 10 rounds, if you don't know). Wlad will be tough opponent for Lennox because of his power, speed and great jab - Lewis always had problems with fighters, who had a good jab. But Lennox would be very tough opponent for Wlad as well, mostly because his great inside uppercuts. Both Wlad and Lennox have great power, so both could KO each other. I think, Lewis was more relaxed in the ring and had more killer instinct than Wlad, so if Lewis turns the fight into brawl (and I think he would after few rounds of cautious boxing), I'd give the edge to him. One thing for sure - if any of them lands his best punch, the opponent will go down.
The Poll results are deafening the Klit-lickers must be in serious tears.
You know that this is an American forum for English speaking users, right?
This poll is as representative of the world opinion as would be a Russian poll on a Russian forum.
We can agree to disagree about Calzaghe.
You Brits should be damn proud about Lewis though. He is a proper ATG, One of the best heavyweights ever lived. Arguably top 5, maybe even top 3 ever at heavyweight. Wlad will NEVER even get close, he don't got the competition to fight to even get in the top 10. nevermind top 5.
Yea Lewis was a beast.
Carl Froch can become a top-10 all-time Super-middleweight if he wins the super-six. he needs to avenge that defeat to Kessler though (even though I scored the fight a draw).
It's possible he is in the top 100, shure. But an ATG? Nah. Don't get me wrong here, he was an excellent fighter. But an ATG should have a better resume than that. His career kinda proves that it don't matter how good your record is if you don't got the resume...
top 100 = ATG.
boxing has been around for over 100 years so there have been many great boxers. he's somewhere between 100-75 in my eyes. Definitely the greatest super-middleweight of all-time - lol he should be called the Supermiddlweight GOAT. That's surely got to count for something.
Anyway, this thread is about the Klit-huggers getting pwned. So yea, take that Wlad, Lewis whoops you.
hweightblogger is an alt by one of the klit-homo's. It's probably Tunney or Steelhammer or Wladisthechamp or one of those hardcore klit-ites.
NO serious boxing fan thinks records proves how good a fighter is. And he actually has the nerve to say it is facts. What a ****in retard son of a *****.
What do you say hweightblogger? Since it's all about records I guess Zsolt Erdei is an ATG? JCC Jr, Calzaghe, Ottke too right?
Erm... Yeah. Calzaghe is a top 100 ATG.
What because you will make A hundred Alts LOL
Hey, now that you say it: You were the one who RedK'd me and wrote "Tunney lol". No wonder you have also weird ideas about Wlad and Lennox. It seems you can't keep apart wishful thinking and objective information.
