Floyd outboxes Cotto from the cradle to the grave....at no point in either dude's career would I see Cotto winning....the best Cotto could've done was make it tough for Floyd imo....I wanted to see this fight and still wouldn't mind but it wouldn't be the same as if they locked it up in '08....NOW, who would I have liked to see win?!?....in '08 it was Floyd but NOW...I would like to see Cotto whoop his ass :boxing:

Well,if U can use Castillo to compare to Cotto,the same can be done about Zab Judah!!He is arguably faster than Floyd & has more power!!He gave Cotto trouble early but Cotto's even greater power & solid boxing skills still overtook his early speed & power!!(Now just in case someone says something crazy,Floyd's stamina is the great equalizer when comparing him to Judah)!! I agree Floyd hasn't fought a body puncher like Cotto or pretty much a single fighter like Cotto at 147. But still, he fought Castillo at 135 who is as good a body puncher as Cotto IMO and although he struggled he dealt with it and got the victory, i also believe the 147 version of Floyd is better than the 135 version. As opposed to Cotto who has never faced anything like Floyd remotly as well as Floyd does it at any weight. I'm not saying this is why he would win, i'm just saying in the sense of the 'Cotto will beat Floyd because he doesnt struggle with boxers' theory, is not nessercarily true, you know? Floyd wins a clear but competitive 8-4 decision. Similar fight to Oscar fight. Cotto would have some success early with the jab and his great timing with it, but soon Floyd would start countering over it with the right hand. Cotto would win some rounds on aggression in the beginning but Floyd would take over.

PBF takes Cotto apart. He just doesn't have the footspeed for his pressure to have done him any good. An in and out attack for PBF gets him a clear decision in that fight. It's too bad it didn't happen because at the time it was a big one.
