I think he bags it already and nobody even comes close. That'll be the 5th time Freddie gets the Futch-Condon award, the most by any trainer in history and his third straight which is never been done. LOL @ Floyd Sr. calling Roach the "Joke Coach". He and his brothers Roger and Jeff aint never been awarded one. He he he...

hahaha Yeah, I think Freddy gets it again.
If Roach will be chosen as Trainer of the Year Award then he will be on his way of setting a a Record of the most number of awards he has received
as Trainer of the Year!.

Just 27. What do you mean 'just' 27? 27 is ****ing ancient for a prospect at any level. If he is a prospect with little technique at 27, he doesn't have much hope of getting better. Sure, he can get experience and tighten things up but really, that's how he'll always be.
Kayode, 27, is now regarded as one of the sport’s elite prospects, which is quite a change from just a few years ago when he was stranded in New York. Accompanied by two friends, he came to the United States from his home in Lagos, Nigeria, to fight in a pre-Olympic tournament in Chicago. - Yahoo Sports' Kevin Lole...
i'll take his word than yours i guess... and oh, can you guess when sergio martinez got his first world title? thats what i thought... :bottle:

What d hell u complaining? Kayode knocking out everybody!! Do you want him to kill all his opponents for u to be impressed?
I would say the Martinez trainer he did a good job with Matiz or however you spell his name, and ofcoarse Martinez....
Or Ward Trainer too........
Who else did he trained?
Ward trainer?? I hate boring and Hugging fight man!!
exactly, that dude... that's why he is a prospect.. he is just 27, i hope roach can do something about those skills though... we need more excitement on the heavier weights... all the action are on the lower weights these days...

There's simply not that many good, and just about no great, trainers left in the sport. Freddie Roach would have been a common trainer fifty years ago, but today is considered as the best or among the best. It's sad, there used to be a Freddie Roach in every main city, now there is hardly any.
Although, it's as much due to his stable as anything. When you have a bunch of great fighters at the same gym, they spar and get better no matter what. That's a big part of it, having a great gym full of great fighters.
I can't really think of anyone else who has done anything, but it's not as if Roach has even done that much either. Unless taking Khan and giving him more stamina translates to something amazing, which is more to do with conditioning anyway. The guy has hardly changed and the weight jump had more to do with being better than anything else. What else is there?
Who, Lateef Kayode?
Yea he has great power but is a little slow and doesnt have the best boxing technique
Every fighter in that weight class is slow!! There's no Pacquiao speed in that weight class!!
But I like KAYOde!!
