Great scorecards. I had Ortiz winning by 1 point, but a draw was not bad at all. Khan-Maidana, i'm glad the judges had the fight closer than the bullshit scorecards of Lederman. Khan beat Maidana in a close fight and i'm glad the judges recognized it was a close fight, the fight could have even been a draw and I would have been okay with it.
4 of the best 140 pounders basically fought evenly tonight. 140 stays as the hottest division in boxing.
The judges were good for the Hbo fights.
The Vic/Mares fight was terribly scored imo.
But the real rotten whore in all of this is Joke Khortez, if not for him Maidana wins by k.o.
Dan Rafael scored ORtiz fight 97-91 and he didnt comment on the official score after it...then he scored Khan fight 114-111 same as 2 of the judges...and he was all proud of himself
I was going to say the same thing in my first post but that's boy G-Dog, don't wanna ridicule him and seem bi-polar.
lol the 10-3 was on purpose
but seirously i gave maidana 4 rounds and then minus the knock down and minus another point for the elbow or whatever cortez ruled
10-3?
I didn't realise they increased the length of a fight...
I personally had it 9-3, Maidana won 2,10, and 12 clearly could've given him 11.
Maidana was chasing Khan and landing almost nothing early on, Khan other than the second easily swept the first 7 rounds personally, Maidana was an ineffective aggressor early on. If he hadn't of hurt Khan in that 10th round I could've seen him quitting. He was really reluctant to get off his stool in that round.
But as I said in another thread the scorecards (atleast mine) didn't show how brutal the fight was on Khan atleast.

Great scorecards.
Gotta agree. I had Peterson 95-93 but I wouldn't argue a draw. I also had Khan 114-111.
The Showtime judges tonight, well not perfect, got the right results too.

I already forgot, but I remember after like 3 different rounds, I had my jaw dropped at how the hell could Lederman give those rounds to Khan. But the fact is, the judges got the fight right. Khan was the better man in a close fight. Lederman's card shows that Maidana was barely ever in the fight.
Lederman and Lampley = Lapdogs for HBO!
Khan won more rounds, you can give Gaidana 10 and 12 but thats it...points deducted too make it a landslide victory against the cheater
BTW Kev, what did Ledderman have the fight scored??

This is the BEST thread of the night! HBO with Lederman and Lampley want you to believe their lies, but these judges were totally on point...
I had Khan winning 114-112, 7 rounds to 5 with a 10-8 round for Khan in the 1st and a 10-8 for Maidana in the 8th or 9th, the round where he really punished Khan and had him out on his feet...
Neither of the 4 guys who fought tonight disappointed. All 4 gave everything they had, none of them wanted to give up. Hopefully Bradley-Alexander will be just as good.

I had Peterson winning 6-4 with a 10-7 round against him in the 3rd though it should have been 10-8 because that 2nd KD was suspect... Anyway that score was 94-94 Draw, but should have been 95-94 Peterson w/o the suspect KD...

Whos landing more and taxin dat azz more. Khan was landing 3 punch combos at will and Gaidana was landing the odd power shot here and there
And this is not true, he was landing some good uppercut combos.

Chad Dawson landed more punches on Pascal. So that means Dawson won?

Really? Which rounds did you give Khan?
You have to factor in who was the one making the fight happen.
