Seriously, unless you watched every great fighter in several fights some of whom there is no film of, you have no business making top 100, 50 ATG lists.
Boxrec results and newspaper articles don't cut it.
Not in H2H but they are certainly relevant and applicable to ranking resumes.

ive watched many of the fights since i was a kid
Wow look at all of the 90 year olds who must post on this forum. I mean how else could you have seen thousands of fights involving hundreds of the greatest fighters to ever lace them up for the past 100+ years in order to come up with lists and all time rankings?
you dont have to be 90 years old to look at old tapes ..... :smashfrea

You don't have to 90 do research, not every historian is old.
I'm not talking ****, I just find it incredibly odd that you know who Boy Gym, LaBarba, Gonzalez and even Jofre is, yet you don't know who Sanchez is who is much more well known then all of them, that's all.
Good list though.
no no no i know its not you. its other guys in this thread sh!tting on my list lol
well yea for that weight class ive never heard of him. the name sounded familiar.
ppl who talk sh!t about my boxing knowledge gotta realize if they followed hockey like i did and after 2 years they would know sh!t to what i know about hockey.

I don't care if it's your list or not.
But you NEED to know who Salvador Sánchez was.

its pretty good considering i just started watching boxing full time over 2 years ago.....like i said before i was primarily a hockey fan and could tell you anything about NHL and junior ranks, KHL, ECHL, AHL, SEL, DEL, WHL, BCHL, AJHL, QMJHL, OHL
ALL THAT SH!T. nobody on here can tell me ANYTHING about hockey that i dont already know. I was a huge hockey fan and i harly follow it anymore. i just started watching and knowing boxing

Wow some people on here, Sandy Saddler, Chalky Wright, Jackie Graves, Manuel Ortiz, Jackie Wilson, Phil Terranova, Harold Dade, Fabela Chavez there's the hofers and I'm missing a few I think, he beat plenty of future and former world champions like Paddy DeMarco, Joey Archibald and others and his record is just outstanding.
GDog you don't know who Salvador Sanchez is and by the looks of it you couldn't name one great that Pep beat, this isn't your list is it ?.
of course it's not,
what is wrong with people in here. gdog comes nowhere near being able to come up with that list on his own....
I am impressed.
I disagree with half of your list. But, I am surprised by some of the names you put up there. i wouldn't think you would know those names...But, good shit :fing02:
c'mon man.........................
He was a great LW.
But, I would put Duran, B. Leonard, Gans, Whitaker, Canzoneri, Williams all ahead of Ortiz at LW.
IMO anyways only Duran and B.Leonard has a case to be the greatest LW of all time...
Ortiz as great as he was doesn't. And, I know he is Puerto Rican and all but he just doesn't.
I can't split Duran, Leonard or Gans for the #1 spot really.
going 70-7 losses no case for being top five, oh I see your point, Felix Trinidad is GOAT cause he can't get past a jab LOL
Well considering that I said Unbiased that Ortiz, Benitez, and Gomez are arguably the GOAT from PR.
But, since I am "biased" Tito is the GOAT...Keyword there "biased" since Tito is my favorite fighter of all time? Did that go over your head or what?
There are just too many great fighters in LW, I don't even have Henry Armstrong in the top 5 at LW. To me that is how deep this division is. Not saying Armstrong and Ortiz are not great fighters cuz they're. ATG's....
And, what I said also that I guess also went over your head. Is that after Duran, Leonard, and Gans is splitting hairs to who follows...You could put Canzoneri, Whitaker, Williams, Armstrong, and Ortiz in any order at LW after those first 3 names. I personally don't have Ortiz in that top 5 though at LW.
So I never said Ortiz doesn't have a case for being a top 5 LW, I just said I don't see him having a case for being the GOAT at LW. But, me personally I don't put him in my top 5 LW but it is splitting hairs after the top 3.
And, didn't Duran avenge his only defeated twice at LW?
So your argument is null and pointless.
IMO only Duran and B. Leonard has a case to being the GOAT at LW.
And, IMO Ortiz is not even top 5 at LW...JMO...But, after the top 3 in Duran, Leonard, and Gans then you start splitting hairs. Just in my list I don't have Ortiz in the top 5...
