a rematch between Super Champion Miguel Cotto and King Manny Pacquiao is in the horizon, actually for september, this will happen after Miguel destroy ilegal fighter Antonio Margarito, as we know Margarito did not receive jail time after ilegal activities were found in the Mosley fight, but people that are not stupid knows that everything indicates that this ilegal fighter have been using ilegal wraps in his past fights. Mguel said. next fight will not be the same as the first one, i been watchin his last fights and i know i can beat him this time.
There are so many opponents for either guy, they shouldn't be recycling Margo anymore. If Margo beats Cotto that means a rematch with Pac? Are they are only Top Rank fighters in the contract of Pac?
Prior to the Pac fight, in five of Miguels 9 fights at welter,
he weighed less than 147.
146 vs Quintana
146.5 vs Judah
146.25 vs Mosley
146.50 vs Gomez
146 vs Clottey
He was fine at 145.
If Cotto looked smaller as some people here thinks he was at fight night, its because he chose to be that way. Maybe he wanted to match speed for speed with Pac. But he was not dehydrated.. Anyone who says this is just making up an excuse for Cotto..
unless it's at the Jr Middleweight Limit of 154, I don't see a different fight..
Cotto tried to Match Pacquiao's speed by not rehydrating as much as usual, and on top of that tried to go toe to toe with the much faster Pacquiao and paid for it,
So unless Cotto can come in at his comfortable weight from the jump!, and sticks to a perfect gameplan of stick and move stick and move, and work that body, than Cotto will be flat lined Hatton style..something I wish to NEVER see.

Cotto-Manny at 147 straight up is a good fight. If Cotto stands and trades it's a wrap. If he boxes and makes it to the end it'll be an entertaining fight but I have to think manny wins going away again.
i am favoring cotto over margarito, but just like the first it will be a hard fought war, now that the cotto-martinez is off the table I think we will see cotto-margarito next...
Cotto lost because his head movement is horrible and defense is swiss cheese, he does not possess the boxing skills to beat Pacman.
He didn't just lose to Pacman he got embarrassed.
link??????
it's on endi.com
I saw it this morning but Cotto doesn't say much. Like always.
He does dish some dirt on Margarito, saying that "we have all seen what has happened since he was caught in the Mosley fight".
hope my boy redeems himself vs tony and 1 day with pacquiao if he gets the chance.
I would be elated if that happens. I hope arum does not feed him to the wolves again. Cotto's turn to get what he wants.
