I know its a sh*tty fight but it looks like its gonna happen...we gotta deal with another one sided mismatch yet again, I hope I'm wrong and the fight turns out to be good. But I ain't holding my breath.

I'm not really too excited about this fight, but it's crazy how many people front on here like they're not watching the fight. Just like people who hated on Mayweather fighting Marquez. Guess what, they watched the fight too. I believe anyway you slice it, Pacquiao would've gotten heat from either of the candidates he fought be it inexperience, being too small, or now in this case...being old. I guess we're stuck with him fighting the old guy.

I think the fight doesn't make any sense on an economic or financial level: Economically - Mosley demand is on the decline losing to Floyd and drawing with Mora didn't help with his stock, whereas JMM is platued or climbing as he has consistently won against fair to good opposition since is defeat to Floyd. Conclusively, a 3rd fight with JMM is more feasible than a romp with Mosley. Financially - The gains from a Pac vs Mosley would not exceed a Pac vs JMM fight. I just can't see that rational. I do not have the time to provide analytics. unfortunately, however, my hypothesis is simply this: the demand for JMM is higher than that of Mosley. I believe JMM can draw more and therefore provide a better return.

It's disappointing but we all knew this was coming. I guess the only thing we can look forward to is Manny destroying Mosley in a more emphatic fashion than Floyd. Someone summarise this thread for me. Apparently saying a 38 year old boxer is past it is disrespectful to their entire career and whether a fight is a good win or not comes down to whether Pactards think one of the fighters is ducking the other.
