Sergio keeps calling out Manny and is making weight concessions to do it.
Sergio even showed that Manny fought 167 pound Margarito and 170 pound Clottey, but keeps refusing to fight Martinez.
Is it that Sergio is too BIG (even though he is the same size as Manny's last two opponents) ...or is Sergio too GOOD (like Roach said about Shane last year)?
Will Manny step up to face Sergio, or will Manny face a shot old man or a 36 year old featherweight at the WW limit?
:boxing:
why sergoi make insult on my idol and keep talking on pound for pound king and fighter of the decade and 8 division weight champion congressman?
:bottle:
O don't get me wrong I'm all for him fighting some of the bigger guys but my thing is why would Roach talk **** about knocking him out if he just going to turn around and say only if he comes down to 150. My thing is don't talk **** unless you're ready to back it up. When Serg said he was to big to fight Pac I think he meant at his proper weight class not at some catch weight.
So what's the big deal kid?!! Roach/Manny said Manny will KO Sergio at 150lbs. and Sergio said he will KO Manny at 155lbs.. Nobody is lying here, i'm sure Sergio can back up his claim at his proper weight, but so is Manny, to think that Manny's proper weight is really 147lbs, not 150lbs... I think the Bigger, Higher and Heavier guy should give in if you want this fight to happen
When will Sergio call out someone his own size or perhaps someone bigger than him?
He seems to be playing the part of a bully only chasing after those who are smaller than himself. He is the one making himself look like a b*tch.

Manny fought the bigger Margarito at 150lbs. weight limit, Manny was 148lbs. at fight night while Toney was 167lbs. difference of 19lbs..
Manny fought the bigger Clottey at 147lbs. WW limit, Manny was 148lbs. Clottey was 170lbs. at fight night, difference of 22lbs.
Manny is willing to fight Floyd, Mosley, Berto, Bradley, Marquez at the WW limit of 147lbs, and he is willing to fight Sergio at 150lbs...
So in reality, Manny has no problem fighting bigger guys just as long as they go down somewhere near his weight limit... Margarito did it, why not Sergio??!!! Why is the bigger guy is the one insisting at this asian midget to go up into his weight??!!! WTF is that??!! Manny is already considered a blown up featherweight competing 3 divisions up at WW, that's why he can only gain as much as 144lbs for a light middleweight fight... And the only saving grace that Toney didn't go down in their fight was because of that 19lbs. difference in weight... And now, you want Manny to meet Sergio at Sergio's specified weight limit of 155lbs. where Sergio can go up to 175lbs. at fight night and Manny will be at 148lbs. again as always... That's 27lbs. difference!!! WTF is that??!! But even if Sergio has that big big advantage in height, reach and weight.. I still think Manny will win this fight even at the 155lbs. catchweight, but Manny will be receiving some of the hardest and heaviest punches that he ever got in his entire boxing career... He will win this fight but it will soften him considerably, and FLOMOS like you will really love that, so that Floyd can now man up and challenge Manny for a fight finally!!! Logical fights for me is Floyd first for the Pound for Pound King then Sergio second for a 9th division title to further his Legacy....
Yes of course, the undisputed middleweight champ is making a guy that was fighting at featherweight just a few years ago (and that he would outweigh in the ring by close to 20 lbs,) look like his btch.
Pacman's Resume is a mile away from Martinez!
Fighting Pacman means a millions of Dollars!
Hence, so many Boxers are itching to fight him.
They will do anything to get Pacman's attention!
Why is there a double standard here? If he wants Pac to come up to fight him .
STOP. RIGHT. THERE,
That is where your logic falls apart. Sergio did not ask Pac to come up. Sergio wants to fight Pac for the JMW belt. The belt that Pac holds.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ONE CHAMPION CHALLENGING ANOTHER FOR A BELT? He isn't asking Pac to move at all. He will go to JMW. Ya know, the same belt Sergio held about six months ago.
Yeah, I don't have the answer for that one. My only guess would be that he was referring to a fight at 147.
lol, hardly a follower. If I follow anything it's logic, something thats appears to be lacking in Martinez' statements.
Why is there a double standard here? If he wants Pac to come up to fight him and if it shouldn't be such a bid deal as some here believe, then he could very well go up to 168 to fight one of those guys. I'm sure he would make some money with one of those fights. On top of that, one should look at the weight differences proportionately. Pac started at 108, Sergio at 147....there is a huge proportional difference at play here
Whats so hard about him fighting a 168 champ? Afterall, he wants Pac to do the same thing.

I guess a follower will always be a follower, at least all you're loyal

When sergio martinez calls out Andre Ward or Carl Froch and goes through with it, then he can talk $hit about Pac. Until then, STFU about 155.

Sergio is the one who is flip-flopping
first he says Manny is too small, now he suddenly wants to fight him. He needs to get his story straight
He told the truth first time around, it would be a mismatch size wise. Then his manager and promoter got in is ear and ordered him to trash talk.
exactly.
ppl i guess don't realize how fckin pathetic this sounds for sergio.
'that guy is sooo small our fight will be a total mismatch.'
he wouldn't have said that if he didn't believe it himself.
then he turns around and challenges that same dude to a fight anyway?
:lol1:

That's because Roach has been talking **** about how Manny would knock him out, so Serg called his bluff and that's when all the weight crap and we won't budge crap comes into play. Sergio is to big when he is healthy and comes in proper condition but if he drains himself he would be selling his soul for money just like the rest did. It's about time somebody says screw that if you want the fight lets make the fight at a weight we both comfortable

I'm sorry but I'm tired of Manny and his team bull**** depands fight Serg healthy not drained. Why is it ok for Serg to kill himself to come down in weight but Manny can't even come to 140 and fight Marquez? Manny weighed 144 during weigh in his last fight 140 is not that hard to make for him, yet Roach won't do it, and people defend this, it's sad
Sergio merely challenged another champion for his belt. At the official weight. What is wrong with that?
sergio merely said pac was too small for him and it will be a mismatch.
so which one is which?
