Mainly because Froch fights with his hands low, and I see Abraham landing the same left hook he landed on Miranda.
You heard it first. Sergio Martinez KO'ed P-Wall for Knockout of the year, but I wouldn't count tomorrow out either.
Why? Because this fight has FOTY written all over it. It's going to be good because this fight isn't going the distance. Arthur Abraham will KO Froch within 5 rounds tomorrow. Left hook.
I'll take bets if anyone is interested. I'll put 20 mil on Abraham. :yeah:
For the attention of the TS.
You sir, HAVE JUST BEEN OWNED BY CARL 'THE COBRA' FROCH.
Now fuck off!!!
You can suck cock.
It was mainly a prediction. No hate involved like you low life losers who come on here to start wars with others. I was wrong. I tip my hat off to Carl Froch. I didn't watch the fight but I will later.
So yea... Go suck on a massive COCK.
Don't come to my thread posting that bull**** you Cock sucker. Get a life rather than bump a thread with no boxing insight on how the fight went off.
Abraham says hes going to fight different to what he usually does and will throw more and press the action more, leaving him more open for heavy counters and wele see if he does have stamina issues also
but i think hes a bit slower than froch when punching and moving around.
froch also says hes going to fight different this time and stick to a game plan, not get dragged into a war and use his advantages in reach and his jab and will move around more not keeping straight in front of abraham to not give him time to set his feet and land big knockout shots.
but its hard to shake old habbits,so either guy will be as normal then most likely.
i just see froch as the more active fighter, who will throw more, working the body, dropping abrahams guard, then attacking the head, but will look to not get hit as much, but still has a solid chin if he does get hit with big shots,he just needs to make sure he can see them coming!.
Abraham only stopped taylor whilst being at super middle, and Taylor had been knocked out enough already!.
this one could be a test of whos got the better chin and heart rather than whos got the better power.:boxing:
If Taylor was a better finisher he'd have wins over Pavlik and Froch. Both Pavlik and Froch were clearly hurt when Taylor knocked them down.
If Taylor had better gas and a chin like Andrade's he'd be undefeated too. I trust you see what I mean by this.
Froch will fight Abrahams fight, which is why I see Froch getting knocked out. If he thinks Taylor and Kessler punch hard, wait till he hits Abraham with his best shots and they get blocked most of the time and the dude just keeps coming and punching harder.
That Taylor fight is still hard to watch. Taylor looked so good at times, and he was afraid to finish Froch off when he had him hurt. So frustrating.
I don't believe Taylor had a chance of finishing Froch off. Froch was still landing good shots in several of their exchanges even when Taylor had him hurt.
The fight was a lot closer than most people seem to think it was. Taylor was only up around two points going in to the final round, and that was only because of the knockdown. Froch deserves more credit for his victory over Taylor. Many people put Taylor's loss down to gassing, ignoring the pressure Froch was putting him under throughout the fight. From the 5th round onwards, Froch was landing big punches and hurt Taylor several times. The Cobra did himself proud in that fight.
I have Froch in this fight. I think he's a better boxer than people realize, and his length and size advtantage will allow him to keep AA away. At 168 Abraham is strong, but not as strong. Froch is pretty tough.
True. I only really realised this after watching the Kessler fight. He was doing quite a lot of good work off the back foot and keeping Kessler at bay with the jab. It's not his natural zone, though, but if he finds he has to (protecting a lead in the closing rounds for instance) I think he can keep Abraham off him.
Abraham, on the other hand, has great timing which he calculates specifically for his opponents in the opening rounds, when it looks like he's doing nothing. When he throws a big shot it almost always lands and lands big. Froch will get hurt in this fight. The question is will he be stopped or will it spur him on?
And away from Germany what effect will body shots have on the outcome?

Taylor did look awesome in the opening rounds, but if you remember Taylor gassed himself out going after Pavlik when he had him down and was criticised for doing so. That was probably in the back of his mind. There's also the fact that Froch didn't take the knockdown lying down (no pun intended) but fought back immediately. It wasn't like he was lurching all over the ring ready to be taken, and Taylor just holds back or anything. He was still dangerous.
I'm still none the wiser who's going to win this fight. Froch is a better boxer than I initially thought, and posesses a caveman-like cunning and will to win that I think could hold him in very good stead for this fight, but man oh man can Abraham bang! Won't make a prediction either way, just hope that it's a great fight.

Whatever happens Froch will go out as a true warrior, believe that.
Yep, I'm sure.
Froch is badass, but he talks way too much. If he talked less, he would be taken more seriously.
That being said...
WAR ABRAHAM!!
So, we won't be seeing Froch constantly slipping on the canvas
Like I said, you'll be seeing a fight between two genuine warriors of the sport which will be a credit to the sport of boxing (just like Froch v Pascal, Froch v Taylor & Froch v Kessler). If Carl loses he loses, but there will be no cowardice.
