Would you go as high as 147, since Manny Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, says that he won't allow Pacquiao to fight below that division weight?
"If it comes to that, then, you know what, no problem. I don't want to have to go 147, but if he weighs 147, yes, I'll even go to 147. Just to be fair."

Pac FEARS Marquez.
don't start this **** again son Marquez doesn't fear Pacquiao and Pacquiao doesn't fear Marquez, they fought twice already and a 3rd fight might be coming, the only problem people are having is NOT fear it's the fact that Pacquiao tries to bend the rules to suit his benefit
if Marquez asked Manny for a catch weight he would say no even though for 2 straight title fights he was granted that, when it was beneficial to him and not his opponent he got it without question but when it plays against him he declines and all of a sudden wants to fight at the real weight.
and to think people actually have a problem with Floyd, a fighter who hasn't ever won a world title at a catch weight only against champions at the full weight.
Marquez looked good at 144lb's but nowhere near as good as he looked at 130-135lbs where he is king at, Manny and Roach saw that and took heed to it and instead of doing the right thing like Floyd and giving him a catch weight (even risking a penalty on himself because it didn't benefit Floyd to make it 144 but he did it in the interests of fairness)they want him to pack on even more weight which is just plain fucked up
he already showed a difference in what he can do by going up to 144, now they want him to come in at 147? I'm baffled by the corruption, Top Rank as a whole is becoming a plague to Boxing
Really? I thought they needed to be within 10lb below the limit and not a lb over?
Most sanctioning bodies only require the maximum limit to any division for a fight to be sanctioned.
even at 147 I think JMM has the skills to STILL give Manny problems but at his age can he carry all that weight and still be as quick and effective and maintain the Stamina...that I don't know...it is just no way around "Father Time"
Let this man get paid for god's sake.
I think Pacquiao will get him out of there, but the more they seem disinterested in fighting Marquez the more it raises questions about them not being in a hurry to immediately put him in there with someone who isn't always willing to trade with Pacquiao.
Correct me if I'm wrong a boxer is allowed to come in at most 10 lb below the weight division they are competing at.
Why did Marquez come in at 142 vs Floyd jnr, when he could have have come in lighter which would may had benefited himself.
The catchweight of 144 which later was altered by Floyd Jnr to 146 was within the 147 division so Marquez could have come in at 137?

But $ is always a great motivator. Pointless fight though.
