Which fighters, who are somewhat established, do you think haven't yet made their case to be called great beyond doubt, but are likely to? Lopez? Gamboa? Martinez? Who's on your list? Who do you think is earmarked for greatness but not there yet? Who's closest to selling you?
You gonna have to stop every 15 secs to sort out stupid and logical comments on a boxing forum LOL
I used him an example, you claim I'd base everything on one night, theres many people who do that here right under your nose, so talk boxing with me LOL
Margarito is a fraud and cheater why you will still root for him, is beyound me, anyway LOL
Who said that I root for him? I know it wasn't me.
...I didn't say anything about Juanma to you, did I?

Please, everybody thinks Juanma is overrated over stupid pot shots, he won almost every round against a Mexican legend, you just typical hater, when somebody talks about a fighter you like, you get offended but agree with lots of stupid shiit when somebody says something esle. I've heard many stupid comments, just when I call out a Mexican everybody gets butt hurt about it. All Puerto Ricans quit on their knees, bet you never said to anybody that was a stupid comment, and would talk boxing with them all day long.

Alright, fair enough. ;)
Yeah, I like Canelo as a fan and I think he is marketable as f*** with the red-haired Mexican thing and his youth, but from an objective point of view, he is still very raw and I'm not sure if he'll really reach P4P status... That said, I think he'd beat Chavez Jr though and I would like to see that.
Frankie Gomez on the other hand, that guy is the truth, I'll be damned if he won't make it far...
As for Abner Mares, I don't know about him ducking Juanma (who I rate as one of the most exciting fighters at the moment, I admit that "above average" was a very poor way of saying they are not anywhere near the Pacquiao and Mayweather status yet), but he is already elite in his division and beat Yonnhy Perez in his last fight, even if 2 judges saw it as a draw. For him to face the top dogs (Perez, Darchinyan, Agbeko) at the age of 24 and not being a crass underdog is huge. He has every chance to take P4P lists by storm in the next 1-2 years.
Frankie Gomez is 18 years old
Jose Jr 18 years old
Abner Mares 24 years old
all three are the future of Mexican boxing, Canelo will win a world title but I dont think hes pound 4 pound could be wrong tho , he does have his own shoe already in Mexico LOL
I take it you're the type to grade Duran's entire career off of that one night he walked away from Leonard then...? "LOL" Seriously, your logic is such that I would feel more comfortable talking about Maidana's freaky sexiness with you again, honestly.

Margarito before Cotto, was the most feared man in the world, how could you foget that? Cintron is an ESPN fighter, and Clottey was robbed against Margarito. He only defeated Cotto.
Angulo was schooled by Cintron LOL the dog is a lil cat.
Sorry, only remenber Guerrerro quiting LOL but I could be wrong like this guy is wrong about Juanma. Who is P4P top ten Ring Magazine, Guerrerro is not.
triangle theories lol
With Ortiz, I just remenber he quit too LOL sorry, Iam being hard on them, I think their nuthing, honestly.

These are Mexicos top Prospects, I like Frankie Gomez, Jose Jr, even abner Mares I was just saying that to be hard on you for saying a top ten p4p'er is just above adverage lol, the rest not so hot with, but I'm getting with Canelo a lil, hard to stomach that JOse Cotto wobbled him, but whatever. :D

Peter Quillin, looking to do it big like past great CUban fighters

Rigo and Gamboa

Sadam Ali, reminds ppl of Roy Jones Jr
http://www.gifsoup.com/view2/1390831/sadam-ali-world-kid-o.gif
list goes on LOL
Bradley - fought decent oppossitions.
JuanMa Lopez - undefeated and beating top 10 fighters.
Lucian Bute - The 1st Andrade fight wasn't his fault that the ref favored him but after the rematch and KO'ed Miranda, his resume is good.
If Khan beat Maidan, then he could be one. I would like to put Donaire but needs to step up competition.
I didn't mean to disrespect Juanma (or Ward, but you only seem to care about the Puerto Ricans anyways), he definitely could turn out to be one of the top dogs after Pacquiao and Mayweather (and also Martinez) retire, it's just that his name is far from being a brand and a draw like those two. So I don't think he'll have a similar superstar status anytime soon.
Mares is one of the most talented young boxers at the moment, and what he achieved at the age of 24 is quite remarkable, I think that guy is the truth. But then again, he is Mexican, no sense in talking to you about him I guess.

Victor Ortiz - Light Welter
Alfredo Angulo - Light Middle
The Ghost Guerrerro - Super Featherweight
Jose Jr - Light Welter
Frankie Gomez - Light Welter
Sual Canelo - Light Middleweight
Brandon Rios - Light Welterweight
Abner Mares - Bantaweght
:rofl::rofl:
Juanma is ten on Ring Magazines pound for pound, at 27 years of age. True Story, and Abner Mares ducked Lopez, by moving down in weight. Abner couldn't even win a belt....

Ortiz was definitely hyped, but not hyped for no reason for sure. Talented kid with excellent power. Loopy though. BUT these other two guys you mention in particular...Guerrero is a three-time two-division world champion, Margarito has had three major world titles and been champion for the better part of an entire decade, with wins over Clottey, Cotto, Cintron twice and the current middleweight champion of the world, Sergio Martinez. ...What? If anything Margarito got zero hype until stopping Cotto when he was the underdog and Cotto was the TV darling....What? Angulo hasn't even challenged for a world title yet but he recently obliterated a former world champion and took another hot prospect's 0. Rios I oouldn't give a **** about. Anyway, whatever.

Ortiz has gifts...but I really think he'll prove to be a sporadic whack job. Just a suspicion. I think he'll be that guy that keeps coming back after puzzling losses and you never know what the hell he's going to do or when he'll keep it all together and perform like a true elite.

There will be a bit of a void for generally accepted "great" fighters after Pacquiao and Mayweather that above average fighters like Andre Ward and Juanma Lopez will have a hard time to fill Abner Mares, Frankie Gomez, Jose Benavidez Jr and quite a few most of us probably haven't even heard of yet will take over.
There's something about Amir Khan that makes me think he could be P4P#1, but of course he has to overcome a few tests before that (his chin vs Maidana, then Ortiz and Bradley).
