all this mayweather pacquaio talk is killing boxing. we r focusing on a maximum of 5 guys in the sport and in 2 years all the big names r gonna b gone, mayweather, pacquaio, haye, maybe hopkins n mosley.
like some1 else said on here, the most anticipated fight of the year (williams-martinez) only sold 5000 tickets. its a disgrace.
and the number of bandwagon fans who have jumped on boxing the past few years but no nothing about it will dissapear into thin air.
Khan and Alvarez are already huge superstars. If they fought they would sell 40+ at Cowboys stadium
Maybe. But to be honest that fight wouldn't sound too good. Or at least doesn't to me. But by the time that happens, it may change.
Boxing will take a major hit. Honestly all the band wagon nut huggers that Pacquiao and Floyd (mostly Pacquiao) has brought in r the reason Pac's selling 40,000 + at a football stadium, and why just about every fight involving one of them is constantly selling 1 million buys. I take a major hit and be on the low for a while, until another international icon can make an appearance. That's why I was against Bradley, Alexander, Khan, Maidana fighting already. They should have waited till Floyd and Manny retired, than had a tourney. That would have made the winner a star that could carry the sport into the next generation, at least until a better one made an appearance.

Alvarez got rocked by Jose Cotto LOL and took him 9 rounds to dispose of him. I think he'd get exposed, by any top fighter. Amir Khan is great but so is Jose Jr, and Frankie Gomez. Rios might as well fight Alvarez and kick his ass, so he can lose to a boxer like El Pollo De Jesus. Cause Rios didnt look so hot, when he was being outboxed.
You are in idiot
Amir Khan and Saul Alvarez are already superstars with huge fanbases. Juanma has a great fanbase, so does Ward.
Brandon Rios and is going to be a superstar very soon.

The Martinez-Williams rematch was in no way the most anticipated fight of the year. The reason it only got 5000 tickets is because neither of them are well-known with the general public.
The most anticipated fight of the year was Mayweather-Mosley, followed by Pacquiao-Margarito, both of them doing nearly 1.4 million buys, which is bigger than any event UFC has done. Not bad for a "dying sport", eh? :lol1:
There will always be new stars to replace the old ones. Always.
Boxing will never die of course. But in terms of main stream america, when Pac and Floyd leave for good it'll be a big blow. Nobody else really gets the US's attention aside from the Klitschko's.
The Super Six was the best thing that could of happened because Andre Ward seems poised to be a star. He's got a lot going for him.

I'm a Texas paramedic/firefighter, I save lives for a living, nice to see how you use your 1st degree honors from your top london university.
BTW an abbreviation is like OMG (for oh my god) or BTW(for by the way), what you were using was lazy talk.
Don't get me wrong, I don't always use the best grammar and ill use a lot of abbreviations but I hate to listen to lazy people talk, and I feel like I can't be serious with them.

Juan Manuel Lopez
Guillermo Rigo
Abner Mares
Carlos Negron
Jonathan González
Peter Quillin
Jose Benavidez Jr
Sadam Ali
Amir Khan
those are some good prospects
Guillermo Rigondeoux needs to fight less like he's still in the amateurs.
his talent is beyond measure, but his style is very off putting to the general public.

What's going to happen if you don't learn proper grammar?
That's the real question you should be asking?
