floyd is a businessman/salesman extraordinaire whereas Pacquiao is more of a fighter. Manny makes the exciting fights, Floyd makes the exciting buzz.

I don't see how it could be less looking at history. People act like Margarito and Floyd don't have a history. We all know Floyd and Margarito don't really have class so there would be a lot of classless banter back and forth, that tends to make people want to see it. Also since I assume this fight would be taking place in our reality Margarito would have to win for this fight to even be a gleam in Bob Arum's eye, and that right there would make it a bigger fight.

Not if Margo KO's Manny and calls Floyd out. Right now, as it stands, with Marg coming off a years ban and not looking good against Garcia, Floyd wins with ease. The only reason Floyd - Marg would be a bigger fight is because of Floyd talking shiit before the fight to sell it. Pac and Marg could have been mute all this time, not saying a word and people would still be excited about the matchup.

Definintely wouldn't be a smaller buzz.

Floyd Sr is in the hospital with a bad heart...i guess the weak heart is genetic but with that angle, it WOULD be interesting to see Brandon Rios and Margarito mocking Sr's condition.... can you imagine them rolling a hospital bed in Garcia's gym and Rios on it coughing and holding his chest? you think Larryx would still be saying 'yall too damn sensitive'? Oh, you know all the hot buttons will be pushed if they choose to go that route. Both sides will be mocking eachother to no end. Hence... The more entertaining the episode, the bigger the controversy, the bigger the fight.

Floyd would probably need 6 episodes of 24/7 and be constantly on his Facebook and Twitter Not even. Add in Uncle Roger and Floyd Sr. into the mix, and by episode 2 Pac fans will be making threads and blogs about boycotting the fight which will create even more buzz blowing up Facebook AND Twitter.
