Anybody else seen that? I can't believe what I just saw.
Bob Arum also said Pac is greater than Muhammad Ali.
I'm sure there's going to be a video posted in youtube within the next few hours, make sure you see it.
-----------
Edit: here's the entire 60 Minutes feature on Pac.
fwd to 12:30 if you want to see Pac declare himself as the best ever.
really? please post a vid of this nonesense. b.c when floyd is shown with his kids, hes nurturing and affectionate
yeah, he was merely demonstrating his 2 kids how to properly use a checkhook with their mom as the target.
lol the thread title is wrong. manny never said that sentence.
i find it quite funny how when floyd says hes the best, flomos are agreeing with him, but the rest of the boxing fans were like "yea watever lol"
when manny says hes the best ever, flomos are all "Wtf no he isnt duran is better" and this intense debate thread pops up.
just goes to show that Manny, like the rest of the ATGs is up there, are being debated as who is the boxer ever. But when it comes to Floyd, most boxing fans are like.... LOL riiiight.
Or would you rather have his standard boring reply: "No I'm still humble. I pray to God always, I always train very hard for each fight blah blah blah."
Oh wait, didn't someone create a thread if he is still humble? And now that he says something "Ambitious" people still have issues. WTF is wrong with people?
Big f#cking deal.. who gives a sh!t if he thinks he is the greatest, that is his opinion. Regardless if he was joking or not, any fighter would best believe that they are the greatest in order for them to be the greatest.
Give the guy a break.
Exactly, he is p4p no1 and if anyone is allowed to say it, even if it aint so, he should be allowed to say it.
You get guys who arent as qualified as Pac boasting it as well. Not just Ali and floyd. Shannon briggs said before didnt he?

The klitschkos did quite a bit for the sport even tho most anti europeans here will disagree with me.There is plenty of boxers who are on the same level as him if not higher. But unfortunately it seems from what I've read so far on here most posters don't follow boxing they follow a specific fighter. And yes him calling himself the greatest is just silly.Sugar ray robinson did more in a year when he went to europe than floyd and pac in their whole boxing career.
++no disrespect to the klitschko's but they fights only at heavyweight and right now there aren't plenty of good opposition in that weight category unlike during the era of ali or tyson..you also said that there are plenty of fighters that are on the same level of pac. but then again, pac is the only one who holds the distinction of having 7 division and 4 linear weight champ in his resume..i can't delve on sugar ray robinson's career coz i wasn't born in that era.but i have a question to you? srl and past boxer may have fought more than a 100 fights before but out of the 100's how many % of that fights do you think are fought with a good if not equal opposition? it would be foolish of you if you think that all 100+ of them are good opposition isn't it?
Ali said it just after he beat Liston before he had done even close enough to prove the claim.True. Ali called himself the greatest but he never said he was greater than Sugar Ray Robinson (which is what Floyd did). I think that's what riles people up. It's not his claim that's he's the greatest, it's the claim that he's better than Sugar Ray Robinson.
I don't see what the issue is with both of them claiming there the best obviously that was both of there goals when they got into boxing they have been boxing for 20+years all that dedication what else do you expect them to say? I have no issue with it, Ali said it just after he beat Liston before he had done even close enough to prove the claim.
Floyd would have said the exact same thing without a smile
Being the best boxer on the planet includes unshakable confidence
on another note
if floyd litterally won't get in the ring with the man
why compare the two?
it looks like the fight's never going to materialize and itl be the biggest fight in the sport's history that never happened
Oh, ok. I didn't see it, just read the thread title and commented. I'll have to check it out.
The interviewer asked Pac about the greatest fighters ever, Pac said including me, the interviewer said yes including you, and Pac said, pretty obviously not that seriously, of course its me.
I can't believe so many people are arguing over a statement Pac was joking around with, when he didn't say ANYTHING CLOSE to what the thread says.
