One major thing his dad had right last night was trying to push Zab in a different tactical direction when it was clear they couldn't bulldoze Lucas.
I'd drop the Floydish defense since it's partially for withstanding pressure (something Judah just doesn't handle well) and turn Zab into a complete offensive machine. Make his offense defense. Make him circle, commit to the jab and throw, get in and out. Don't wait. Be first as much as possible just to keep the speed on his opponents. Stop looking for big clean hits and just focus on contact any way you can get it (ahem stop neglecting body punching Judah) and getting away.. the shots will come when his opponents fall behind on the cards.
Waiting to counter with the big shot just isn't a good fit for him imo. He looks like he would be more comfortable if he was trained to just be more offensive elusive.
Zabs offense was always much better then his defence IMO just look at his older fights ur right zab needs to increase his offense arsenal
he just doesn't have the defense or stamina to have limited bursts of offense like Mayweather. If he can increase his offensive aresenal and tools he'd be alot better
Zab just doesn't have it in him to dig deep, to withstand adversity. when he gets hit he starts to unravel. there's nothing anybody can do about it.
Well, one thing that is going on right now is that he doesn't even have a strategy in place to deal with pressure. He readily concedes to it. Backs up in straight lines too much.
I think it's plain as day that the emphasis should switch to making sure Zab gets off first and circles. His speed is neutralized the way he's fighting right now and he's predictable since he's head hunting.
Judah doesn't have the mental game to wield his natural born talents.
It is a problem how he falls apart once he tastes good pressure, but going into defensive posturing is the last thing Team Judah should want. Keep him moving and on offense and he might be able to avoid these pressure situations better.
