People should know the answer to this one after witnessing what happened in Ward-Kessler...
Bute can box some and has a punch...but the cold, hard truth is that he's basically just another B fighter from a tertiary Boxing nation...
There's only 2 ways he could beat a versatile, and now proven, American talent like Ward...
1. His Puncher's Chance materializing...because he can't outbox him.
2. The fight's in Canada, and he stays on his feet for 12...winning via robbery.
So yeah...outside of those possibilities, under fair and square conditions...Bute is simply outclassed here...
and since his chin is weaker than Kessler's, and he has stamina issues, I can see Ward takin' him deep and stopping him...
Ward leads with his head
and Bute's got faster hands and feet and he throws the uppercut
hell, in the AMs bute was essetentially a tall left handed puncher with that uppercut. i think he's moving back to power punching again.
going to call this one a bute decision but it should be a very good fight
Winner should be on the P4p list for certain
For me it's a style thing; Bute uses movement and fights off the back foot. I haven't seen Ward fight a guy like that so imo I think Bute would take it because he';d have to chase him - it's unfamiliar territory.
The location of the fight will make a difference too. In Canada there's a strong chance of a robbery against Ward but if it's anywhere in the US Ward will likely get away with a lot of fouling so would liekly get the 'W'.
Either way this fight is tainted.
