First, let's assume he get's by Tony.
Second, let's assume Floyd doesn't happen, but I'm always up for a Floyd debate.
Who would be the best/toughest opponent from 140-154?
Who do you want to see?
First choice has always been Floyd...
But just to top that, it would be Williams...
But if his retiring after this last fight, it would be with Berto, it's for a unification bout and it's highly winnable...
I felt like Manny should have tried to unify instead of this Marg fight. Seeing Marg's present condition, I changed my mind because it's going to be good. I like Berto next.
umm
Yeah he should not fight anyone at 154. 147 is even a lot for Manny. He should really fight anyone 147 and below with no more catch weights and thats good enough for me. He would tax anybody at the 140 division and still boost the popularity of the division.
"Who's Next for Manny?"
After Pac's fight with Margs, the focus would shift on Floyd. The focus will be intense. It will be laser-like. What's next for Floyd should be the right question.
Pac would not be expected to fight for a year at a minimum for obvious reasons. I don't think the focus on Floyd would shift somewhere else. He HAS to make a choice and announce it swiftly. Otherwise, he would be hounded like a dog.
Manny, Roach, and Arum (and Buboy :lol1:) have all said Manny's fighting 2-3 more times before he retires. Arum has even gone so far as to set May as his next fight and rattled off some possible names- Mosley, Marquez, Bradley/Alexander winner, and has discussed Paul Williams.
I feel like Pac would need an even bigger challenge than Margarito, and also a fight that would do big business. $ wise, Marquez is probably the best option because of the history there, but that fight is meaningless at this point since JuanMa would have to move back up to WW and that puts him at a terrible disadvantage, especially at 38 years old. The best option:

I would like to see JMM at 140. JMM wants it. He can't ask for as much as he did in the beginning of the year though.
Eiher williams or martinez imo
He is weighing 146 lbs right now about 12 days prior to his fight. 154 is a stretch. Even at 147 is already a stretch for him.
if the mayweather fight doesnt pull through, i would like him to face mosley next at 147.
i still think mosley is a formiddable opponent, that sergio mora didnt ocme to fight him and made shane look worse than he really is.
although i still think manny would win, i see that fight producing some memorable exchanges early on.
it would also be good to see that fight as a comparison of who beat mosley better, pac or mayweather
if not floyd then he prob retires

Im waiting for Floyd to finally grow a pair and display his so called skills against a philippino midget he said he can easily beat.
Probably the most boring fight you would ever see displayed in the ring. Floyd would just run around like a chicken the entire rounds. Don't know why people are demanding this fight, which includes me, btw.
