Chisora was the highest ranked opponent Wlad could get to agree to fight him. The only alternative was to stop fighting and be inactive. He wants to stay active. Whereas Haye turned down a fight with Wlad this year, despite being offered 50/50 with no rematch clauses, which is a far better deal than he has any right to expect, and which is as good a deal as he will ever be offered. And unlike Wlad, Haye has shown no interest at all in fighting any highly ranked fighters.

Boxrec rankings are wrong, any normal boxing fan knows this. If you seriously think that Harrison would have even a 1 in 100 chance of beating Chisora then you're not a normal boxing fan or a boxing fan at all. Chisora would walk all over Harrison. No rankings are perfect, but boxrec's are more respected than most, and are the only independent rankings that go beyond the top 20.
