rigondo doesn't like tough sparring. that's why he left roach
ummmm... ok , wasnt roach the one that said everytime that he put someone in and they felt his power they didnt want to engage anymore?
Hes 30 years old, last year he had four fights, and this year Cordoba will be his 3rd. Hopefully, getting exposure on Margarito/Pacman will get him more fights.
2 years? bro he turned pro in may last year thats not even a year and a half not to mention his contract problems crippled him out of fights something he doesnt have to worry bout anymore
Looks quick, but he's not jabbing at all. too easy opposition imo. he needs to be in tougher, but he still ooks sharp. but can he keep the pace up?

who the FUK are you suppose to be??? Ross Greenburg??? How the fuk do you know what HBO will and won't do??? lol
first Priority is the fukin WIN and if you can be entertaining while winning then so be it, but nobody fights to be entertaining first then try and win second
The commentators were dogging Gamboa in the later rounds. and after, they even said that they didn't like his new passive style at all. I know Rigo has all the ability in the world, so why sell himself short. the young floyd knew he needed to bring excitement, and he did so very successfully against guys like Corley and Emanuel Augustus. Don't forget young floyd was knockin *****s the fuk out. If you are truly great, you can be entertaining no problem at all.
He aint got time to be bullshyttin. clock is ticking, he has to look specacular to get more big fights. he needs KOs, anyway he can get em. He's gotta be entertaining, forget that drag the fight out non sense. he better stop this guy...he doesn't wanna look like how Gamboa did in his last fight. cus i'll tell you right now, i don't think Gamboa will headline HBO again unless he fights Cabellero.

yeah people on this Forum take Sparring Serious!!! hahaha Fukin Idiots! You try different and new things while you are sparring, that is when you test and see what might or might not work
he aint hungry enough??? your stupid!
he just turned pro May 2009, he had to defect from Cuba to turn Pro, if he could have turned Pro years ago he would have obviously!
Rigondeaux is SKILLED, his age won't effect him much especially the way he fights...he doesn't take much damage or punishment so he could be around even late in his 30's and still be fighting at a high level

Rigo isnt that kind of fighter. He is content to just control his oppoenents. I admit this is one of his weaknesses and why he can be out worked. But he will knock you out if he knows he can.

he's clearly workin on defense, but you can work on defense wit a stiff jab too. he can't be doin all that waitin.
So far he has been getting away with using his right jab as a range finder, then he looks for one clean left hand shot. He is probably to the point where has become less reliant on the jab, like Floyd & Roy Jr.
We'll see if Shields can help him implement it back.
