The Mayweather fight is up to Bob , he could have had it in March but Bob and Pac walked out on 14 days ,,,,, if Bob agrees to Floyds full OST and the purse is hashed out the fight will happen its up to Bob , so he does have a guarantee because its up to him . So the excuse for Tony getting brutalized is not weight draining or being shot, but this time it's a 'fixed' fight, an elaborate scheme between Arum and DLH to engineer a win for a 6-1 favorite. They are going out of their way, risking their reputations as well as their freedom (could face jail time if caught) so they can make it so the guy everyone expects to win easily does so. I'm so tired of reading all these idiotic threads claiming that this fight is fixed so Pacquaio can't lose. That makes no sense when you analyze it. First of all, the amount of money Margarito would make in his future fights if he were to win far exceeds what Arum (or whoever else) could possibly afford to pay him. Second, throughout boxing history there is one main reason fights have been fixed. That would be to make money betting on the underdog. Nobody is going to make big money gambling on Pacquaio. You could cash in very nicely betting on the heavy underdog here. Finally, if Margarito wins an exciting fight, the rematch would be HUGE. Don't tell me that Arum is protecting Pac for the mega fight with Mayweather. That fight has already failed to happen twice, and there are plenty of bad feeling with both sides. Not to mention that Floyd has some felony issues to deal with. If Pacquaio wins big, what else is there for him? Nothing that would even come close to a rematch with the man who just beat him. Don't pretend that Manny is going to fight the Williams-Martinez winner. That just isn't happening for a number of reasons. As a disclaimer, I'm not saying that if Margarito wins the fight was fixed. But I am saying if the fight really is fixed, then Margarito wins. Right or wrong, it seems apparent that Arum wants to promote both parties. That's why he turned to Margarito five minutes after the Mayweather fight was dead. Summing it up, no matter who wins Top Rank promotes the winner. So with no real option (other than a not in demand Cotto rematch) for the promoter, I think the agenda is too transparent to even be called suspicious. It's a position that every promoter wants to be in.

That fight is a money tree. If it could have been made, it would have already. These OST demands are just a BS negotiating ploy by Mayweather. They've failed to get the fight done twice when it would never have been hotter. But, yes, Margarito will win, if he "throws" the fight, because he'll get $6 Million plus PPV % with culd total more than $10-11 Million, + he Oscar will get him licensed in the US year after year. All this testing BS is just a smokescreen to get out of making this fight. Pacquiao allowing up to seven days before the fight is a major concession. Certainly more than he should have had to make.
