Manny is good not great(heres why)

Yeah, Manny is god. We all know it. He might be your god, I don't so much about the Dominican culture, maybe they have high praises to Filipinos, if so be it. If you think he is your god than he whatever floats your boat. But, at the end of the day to say that "your god" is not great is idiotic.

ok first off let me say that i enjoy watching manny pac fight but lets not get confused here with good and great. yes manny came from a lower weight class but he fought way to many fighters on the way out regardless of size when your done your done and heres the former champions he beat. 1st name MARCO BARRERA, before fighting manny Marco had a record of 57-3 to anybody 57-3 is a lot of fights and everyfight takes a lil out of you no matter if it was a 12rd UD or 5 rd KO. Before Manny, Marco had fought 2 fights with junior jones( champion) Kennedy Mckinney( champion) kevin kelly( champion) price nassem(champion) Erik Morales (champion) all before manny. Marco had to many wars and by the time manny got him he was just a big name that took to many shots and was done. Before you say wait Marco fought after that(yes he did but what name has he beat after the manny fight and please dont tell me manny ruined him because all his fights ruined him. Next manny fights Marquez, now marquez didnt fight anyone to the point of Marco names and we all know that after 3 knockdowns he started to take it to manny and it ended being a draw. so i give cerdit when its due and manny did a good job here not great bc after 3 kd you should be able to close the show.i kno i kno he wasnt with freddie but well get to that. Next manny fights Morales. now Morales was 47-2. i once again will say that many fights will take so much from you. up to this point Morales has faced Pualie Ayala, Wayne McCullo, junior jones, Barrera twice, carlos hernandaz, guty espadas and jesus chavez.ALL GOOD OPP. he fights manny and wins. what a war now take time to think you fought all of these guys and u war with manny and ppl think omg i want to see it again but little do they know that ..that was the last time we see Morales at his best..Morales loses to Raheem next and loses to manny in the next two. if you dont believe me check after morales loses to manny and see how many wins he has after. so manny takes the next 2 fights from morales. i mean its a good thing but common not great Next big fight manny says let have a rematch with marquez which was a war but does enough to win in the judges eyes. this fight was a coin flip and could have gone either way. once again good but not great. Now manny was to move up in weight who does he choose a soft fist opp in David daiz who has alot of heart. now daiz has a good record at this point i believe only one lost to kendall holt and why does he get a opp to fight pac well maybe bc he beat a aging morales in 07 by scores of 115-113 115-113 and 115-112. to close to call for me esp when morales at this point is done. now manny moves up and knocksout daiz. Now after david he skips 140 and goes to Oscar. media and ppl are saying manny is to small to fight how about Oscar is over the hill and done. he just came off a win from steve forbes and fight before that he was fighting 154 to 160. now here comes manny and they fight at 147. up to this point oscar has been in wit the best.(Tito,Vargas,Hopkins,Mosley,Strum,Mayorga,Ike Floyd ETC) so if your telling me that oscar was in to many wars on top of having to fight at 147 which he hadnt done in years ur crazy. Now we come to ricky hatton. Yes ricky was a good fight def not great and to me a big overratted. who did ricky beat?a aging Kosta common luis colazo got robed in the fight with ricky. who did he beat a one dim Urango a aging luis castillo who was already in wars and fought so many times. common floyd disposed of him and manny just finished it off. once again manny looks great but who is this guy. the UK just media hyped him up and thats about it. Next manny faces miguel cotto. yes at this point alot of ppl were say o well manny met his match now but once again your forgetting that they made cotto fight manny at 145 when the reason for cotto to go to 147 is bc he couldnt make 140 and even had a lil trouble making 147 and now your sayin go down to 145. but most of all cotto was in a war where this man took a beating from margo(now u add the fact that he was getting hit with plaster which i dont care what noone says margo used plaster. u used plaster for mosley who got beat by cotto but u didnt use for cotto fight give em a break. even luis resto deny knowing anything happened intill that documen came out. now manny comes and beats cotto. once again good not great. Next fighter is Clottley. now they fight at 147 when just one fight ago you tell this man cotto to come in at 145. common pac who are you kidding. clottley a good fighter but who has clottley beat. what did clottley do all fight block. are we forgetting jim sayin Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang. once again beats a good opp but not great. you do realize that Pac WAS NOT AT HIS PRIME WHEN HE BEAT BARRERA? And that he was the last minute replacement to fight Barrera and had only TWO WEEKS TO PREPARE FOR THEIR FIGHT.

Pac is great, to say he is not... Is like... WTF? Really? Yeah, Manny is god. We all know it.

Damn, I guess by these standards its amazing Pac is still wining because he's obviously shot to ****, 3 losses, two of them KO's and hes definitely shop worn from all the wars he's bee in. The bull**** of this logic is that if you were to appy the same "past it" criteria to Pac himself, he's no longer in his prime.

The only thing u could say about Pac at featherweight was he beat Morales on the downside to his career, and he didn't rematch Marquez. Cotto at a catchweight definitely holds him back, and Margarito at a catchweight for a title after Margarito was exposed definitely holds him back. But he's on that ATG list. He may not be as high as some Pactards think (saying stuff like if Pac beats Marg he's higher than Robinson), but he's on it. And arguably, he's pretty high on it.

Sasakul, Ledwaba, Barrera, Marquez, Morales, Diaz, Hatton, Oscar, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito are from good to very good if not some of them are great fighters and HOFs. Beating them in one sided fashion except JMM and Marg of course = Pac just a good fighter according to flomos? Someone should tell them coward Floyd is greater than Pac to make their butts happy!

Pacquiao is not just a good fighter, but I wouldn't call him great either. He's a very good fighter, just in between of good and great. + rep and Im no fan of manny but respect him as a fighter and can comfortably say he's more of a great physical specimen than an actually skilled boxer but what he does, he does well. So I respect the skills he does possess.
