Can maidana get on the inside against khan?

why would maidana want to get in the inside? imo, khan is going to be the one trying to get into the inside. Khan has to make a point, that he does not have a glass chin, and winning a fight from the outside proves he is chinny. just watch, khan is gana try to beat maidana at his own game.

Maidana's feet are too slow to get inside. Amir on the otherhand has fast feet. On top of that, Amir is becoming very good in maintaining the right distance and controlling the pace. Just look at Khan-Malignaggi. Agree, But not only does Amir have faster feet, his foot technique is a lot better too. Maidana's footwork does seem to get awkward and misplaced time to time.

Maidana said basically, all he needs is ONE shot to end the fight. So, it sounds like he IS going to bite down and throw bombs from the get go, and hope to catch Khan off guard at some point!

Will khan be able to use his legs to keep distance or will maidana be able to catch up with him? Yes he prob will be able to get on the inside but will he be effective? No Khan has shaped up his defence big time since moving to the Wild Card gym and I can see Maidana being far to slow when he does manage get inside to hit khan with the telling blows.

I dont think Maidana can close in on Khan. Power punchers like Maidana need to plant their feet for power..I think Khan will be sticking and moving the whole night and win by late TKO or UD.

Maidana does punches when he is getting hit. Can't call it counterpunching but more a reaction. Khan does lock up when he is offensive minded in trying to finish his combination. If Khan can keep him away he has skills to pull it off. He is not Kotelink so his defense is totally different

Maidana has to go broke in this fight. He has absolutely no chance trying to be cute in there with Khan and box. He needs to bite down and throw hayemakers from the 1st round.

He can but he won't be in there long enough to make it effective imo.
