If Pacquiao loses how much will it affect his ATG ranking?

Actually, if by a miracle marg's STYLE is trouble for manny then it'll affect how highly we rank his skills. Completely agree with this. This is the only way Pac's legacy takes any real hit.

Don't think it would matter much. Outside of getting completely dominated, which is 99% not going to happen, losing won't affect Pac because it would simply be a matter of finally fighting a guy that was too big. It eventually happens.

Not much, many will say the fight was not even fair, given Margarito's significant size advantage. Pacquiao will fight well with the naturally larger man, but in the end, Tony will have broken him.

In all honestly If Pep has a losing record to his HOF peer Sandler (3 losses if I'm not mistaken...might be 4) and Duran got destroyed by Hearns and quit against Leonard....and both are top 10....then I can't see how it hurts Manny. I'm trying not to be biased, and I'm just looking at this as to how history has treated other ATG fighters in similar positions. Pep is still without a doubt the Greatest Featherweight ever. Considering hes still in his Prime. It will affect his status A LOT. Come on man....you know the deal. If Manny loses it will be because he is shot and past his prime....and the wars with Cotto taking too much outta of him.

If the fight looks like the Cotto fight where Manny just bombs him and Margo continues to take it and finally wears Manny down it will be remembered that the 5'11 150lb Marg was too big for him. Its bound to happen eventually if he keeps going up in weight. A loss is a loss. No excuses. Marg doesnt use his height AT ALL. And Clottey weighed atleast 165. So no excuses bro.

It'll be like when Henry Armstrong tried for the middleweight title and lost. History would remember that he went too far up in weight, but will commend him for trying 8 divisions.
