Ima come clean 1st and say I was thinking last time he was going to blow out Martinez with a 1st round stoppage.
1) In the first fight we all know he was not prepared.
2) Combine that with when he dropped Martinez in round 1 he figured he had him out of there (like I did) and let his guard down wanted to finish the show and got caught with a shot that tipped him off balance.
3) The next few rounds he fought angry did not apply his usual pressure and combination punching his unpreparedness showed. I still think he pulled off some of those rounds though.
4) We all saw he made adjustments and took over the fight.
This time we start from him knowing what to do and fully prepared (plus the last fight he dindnt get any credit for that win thanks to Cintron) hes back and wants those MW straps..I expect a short night for tall Paul. Of course I would like a long great fight as a boxing fan but dont see it happening.
I have Martinez winning by UD but I hope I'm wrong...unless P.Will can hurt Martinez and stop him or Martinez somehow loses a major step, I think he should win...
I highly doubt we see a complete ass whipping but I think Martinez will get the close nod this time...

What a clown.
You watch.. There is a hate in great numbers for Paul WIlliams on this site that I will never understand. And another thing.. I dont know for sure, but I think some dudes are starting to turn gay for Martinez. Its disturbing.
How can you not??? :lol1:

There is hate for every boxer from one side or the other man. Don't know if I will ever understand the psyche of that. I think the fighters fans have a lot to do with that
I know my people are going to hate me for this but I think Williams has peaked. I also believe that Sergio just has the Punisher's number.
With that said 50K on Martinez.

5) You're an idiot....
I have 2 questions..
1. What is your obesession with Martinez beating Williams? Every thread made about this subject you always attacking someone.
2. Ever shart at an important business dinner?
It's always me attacking or supporting my fighter just as Burner/Ceilings (usually is supporting Williams)...it's all in good fun man, it makes things interesting, I don't hate anyone. I did think it could have gone either way and personally, I, of course, favored Martinez but knew that he would get ripped off. It's the HBO way but that one judge they had on there really ticked my off that night, so I transpond the hate for him on Williams.
No, I never "shart" my pants at an important business dinner, however I did bake a brownie with dog feces in it and served it to a drunk guy at a poker game as a bet. :birthday:

You are the man bro....
How he supposed to prove hes #1 to the haters when no one gives him the shot?
Williams is getting the best MW opportunity right now. He can prove himself then if he wants to. Williams is good - I don't expect a dominant performance. I think Martinez takes this....hard to say though...I know what Martinez will do, I'm just not sure what strategy Williams will employ to counter Martinez.
Another question....how come your account is about a year old and you only have 7 posts? Let me guess, Burner/Ceilings created this account and saved it for a rainy day so that he can use it as his next alt for when Martinez beats the shizz out of Williams?
1st round KO?
Not happening.
I pick Williams UD, got 20million on it.
It doesnt matter, Williams wont get a fair shake. If he wins a close decision, idiots will cry robbery. If wins by a landslide, Martinez was weight drained, old, shot, whatever.
I have no idea why he gets so much hate. He wants to fight everyone, he throws 1000 plus punches per 12 round fight, he never gets tired and almost always tries to make it exciting. What more do people want?
whoever says that deserves no attention. Martinez at 160 is NOT weightdrained and at 157 there wouldn't be too much of a difference. Also, Martinez is a late bloomer, much like Bhop, where his prime is at a later age which is where he is now.
How he supposed to prove hes #1 to the haters when no one gives him the shot?
not a hater, just said it. He's had plenty of 'shots' in my eyes to prove he can be great. He's just a brawler dude, so as I said, he is overrated, that is all
maybe true but he is way over hated too.
I'm a put my points on him to win.
Putting 1million on Williams if you lot are interested.
Also true, I don't hate on him however. I already put 750k on Martinez. I would see him being a better boxer if he would get a good trainer. But he doesn't make adjustments because they(him and his corner) don't know how to. Also, he seems to have too many off nights; will it be the same for this one if he losses? Regardless, it is the most anticipated fight in my bool

1) Martinez had 3 or 4 weeks to prepare total compared to Williams' 3 month training camp
2) Martinez slipped in rd 1 but the punch he dropped Williams with was a hard, wicked right
3) Everytime Martinez changed strategies, he clubbed Williams with a different punch
4) Martinez's face was slightly bruised at the end of the fight, while Williams' face was cut over both eyes and he had the look of a loser (eyes down, no smile on his face, and his team had to pep him up)
Martinez with a full camp is going to punish the Punisher
Williams won't dominate shit
Martinez will beat him clearly this time
Williams can't get the volume he likes against Sergio's movement
he has height and reach but don't use it enough to outbox Sergio
Martinez traded too much last time and it cost him rds and energy
expect him to stick to his tactics in the rematch an outbox Paul
