Floyd's biggest win was his beating of a woman. It will define his legacy for all time.
^^^^^^^^100% true, no doubt this incident will dictate Gayweather's legacy as a homo and a coward. :chairshot
Probably Hatton cuz' at least he was still in his prime.
Even though he was 1 division north of his natural best weight.
His resume is pretty much a bad joke.
there are a lot of people who call themself fans of the sport but never heard of floyd against chicanito or saw the fight.
anyway i believe that it is floyds best win and it was great for him and that is when floyd would fight any body.
now he only fight for money and dont care about the fans
Ill be honest and say I only have been following the sport for a comparitively short time and only began following Mayweather after he beat Hatton (who retired my old local fave Kostya Tszyu). But looking back at his career, and i have watched the majority of his post-Hernandez fights, I think that Corrales was probably his biggest win. It wasnt against his biggest name opponent (De La Hoya), or his most difficult opponent (Castillo), or his biggest landslide victory (Gatti). It was more a combination of the three and I feel that makes it his 'biggest' victory.
The Genaro fight is the reason Doug fischer hates Mayweather till date, He picked Genaro to win, Mayweather verbally abuse him when he found out at a round-table and the rest is history..
Do you have any evidence of this cus I swear Fischer claims he only picked against Floyd in the Mosley fight, if you do you should email him.

Are you suprised about that? Am not i see people here who only watch or know Mayweather opposition in the last 5 years (2 years retirement included), Genaro Hernandez was a fight that they told Mayweather not to take, He was 21 years old and has only been a pro for 2 years when he took him on, The people who knew all these would come up with excuses about Hernandez eye... Mayweather did all his hard work early in his career and then got to pick and choose when he got to the top like any other fighter out there.

chicanito because every body say that it was too early for floyd at that time and that win put him on radar and also on p4p list.
think about if canelo had face a 32 yr old champion last night. that is what floyd did when he fight chicanito at such young age. and dominate hernandez

Am sure we can bump any of these same threads over the last two years, Am not so sure why people feel the need to ask this same question like 20 times every year..
Corrales, cuz of how highly regarded he was at the time going into the fight. And, the success he had after.

Dominated an undefeated, P4P ranked champion. In the guys best weight class..
Does he even have one? jk...I said DLH since I think Oscar was the best fighter he ever beat and was still the best fighter he ever beat at the time Floyd beat him...even though he was well past his best.
It's a hard pick. The Corrales win was a virtuoso performance by Floyd but Corrales struggled at that weight. Still great though.
For me Castillo, both times. I love their first bout. And the Hernandez win.
Castillo was the bigger man, the stronger man and the bigger hitter. He came in 9½lbs heavier than Floyd.
Floyd took his best shots and was still standing and trading with him. In the 2nd match he just adjusted better and outclassed him.
The Hernandez (Genaro) was probably his greatest win.
Honourable mentions: Ricky Hatton and the ODLH fight at junior middleweight.
I think the De La Hoya fight made him a crossover star, but the Corrales fight to me going into the fight was a pick em fight based on Corrales' aggressiveness and size and Floyd overcame it. That fight made me a Mayweather fan.
