I never saw anything special in Bute, I do not understand why people think he is the best super middle weight...
Ward, Kessler, Dirrel and Abraham are better for sure, Froch may be better and Taylor is close
being beaten in the amateurs means very little when you enter the pro ring though.
Exactly. Thanks for the video, though.
Doesn't Ivan Calderón have a victory over Cotto in amateurs?
So what if the amatuers are different than the pros. Doesn't change the fact that anytime if he faces anybody that can take his punch and give him one really good that has twelve round stamina he'll fold like a cheap long chair. He's fighting second rate fighters for a reason.
This is VERY interesting, thanks for posting man!!
Its a similar right hand that pascal throws while lunging in, damn him and Bute would be a great fight
wow, he walked right into that one, look like he almost leapt into it, great timing by the other guy.
and let me just say, thank you for making a thread that has to deal with boxing on this boxing website, and not a bullsheit side show racism thread, much much needed............... green k coming.
Thx for Green K
Other guy Golovkin is world champ and Olympic silver medalist and now interim WBA middleweight champ

Pros and Amateurs are different for each fighter. Lucian Bute is a million times better now.
and Govolkin just won Interim WBA middleweight title by KO in 1 round!
Golovkin is a talented fighter, I look foward to seeing him in the mix with all the other rising prospects at Middleweight, which has been a VERY stale division for a long time now, but is going to very good soon.
