Vitor Belfort begs Dana White to allow him to face James Toney in a BOXING match

Speaking via his Twitter account, Belfort said: “Dana let me fight James Tony on 6 round boxe Mach I think I can catch him with my speed” “Dana will be the 1 boxing match in UFC I promise he will fell my power and we will show the world the a UFC fighter can do better” Belfort is scheduled to take to the octagon next at UFC 122 on November 13th in Oberhausen, Germany when he takes on Japanese superstar, Yushin Okami. people need to remember, toney needed a gift vs fres oquendo.... this is true. however i think if toney trained seriously he'd beat oquendo soundly. i don't know if he would train seriously for belfort or not though. this whole boxing vs ufc thing was lame in the first place. two different sports - let them be...

No way Vitor stands any chance. I think a lot of people think boxing is easier than it really is. Toney would embarrass Vitor very badly. I really dont think people understand the skill level of a fighter even as old and out of shape as Toney.

While an old, out of shape, severely shot, and unmotivated Toney would probably beat Belfort, I don't trust him to carry the reputation of boxing on his shoulders. He just isn't relevant in today's HW division. Couture is still a top MMA star coming off a few decent wins, so the Toney vs Couture and the Belfort vs Toney comparison wouldn't be fair. I would like to see Belfort take on Solis, Chambers, or Boytsov in a 12 rounder. Toney played by UFC rules and faced one of their best wrestlers, Belfort should grow some balls and take on one of boxing's best boxers.

lmao at 6 rounds. It's 10 rounds for a non-title fight, buddy. They are the amount of rounds that Toney fights. 3 rounds is the amount of rounds Couture fights in a non-title fight and that's what Toney signed up for. If you want a half fight, you might aswell go fight Shaq instead.

the Brazilian fighters in MMA are the best and they got BALLS, the US fighters in MMA are GARBAGE and have absolutely no skills when it comes to standing and fighting and none of them would step into a boxing ring with a Boxer you could do a Card with: Belfort vs Toney Silva vs Roy Jones

Id tell Dan white and the UFC fans Im the HW world champion if hed let me get beat up for half a mil. I cant knock Toneys hustle. Doesnt mean I should respect him for his choice. no one should. hes just being selfish. would I do it if I were in his shoes? possibly, but probably not, because I would already have plenty of cash from my actual boxing career.
