ok another BULLSH*T WIN for Sturm now when will he start fighting better competition? or will he just live off of "Being Robbed By Oscar De La Hoya" and make that his legacy :nonono: Sturm has excellent boxing skills, I think a fight with Martinez would be a GREAT fight as would a fight with Paul Williams, even a fight with Pavlik would be a great test That will be his legacy. He won't fight any better competition than what we saw today. Didn't fight AA, won't fight Pavlik, won't fight Sergy, and sure as hell won't fight Martinez or P Will.

lorenzo won the first 2 rounds and the championship rounds. no way sturm swept rounds 3-9. what did sturm do down the stretch other than get outworked? if he fights golovkin next, sturm gets laid the fck out. not an impressive showing at all. I didn't say he swept 3-9. And I actually had the 2nd scored for Sturm. As the commentator predicted, Lorenzo was a front runner. He faded until about the 7th or 8th round, then he turned it up and won a couple of rounds, but by then Sturm was ahead on the cards. Sturm got outworked the 10th and 12th rounds. He won the 11th. Sturm might not have been impressive, but this fight was easy to score. Especially in the middle rounds when Lorenzo was just arm punching while Sturm was landing clean jabs, and clean left hooks and rights to the body. Also at least one of those middle rounds, Sturm stole. He had a flurry at the end and landed some big shots

If he wanted to take the champs belt in his hometown, it wasn't nearly a good enough effort. Nice effort at the end but too little too late it appeared. 7-4-1 Sturm. Sturm solid as usual and can keep wracking wins if he stays away from PWill and Sergio. Hope he tries one anyways.
