5:12 - Hatton whacks Floyd flush and before he's even closed the gap Cortez is running in to break them up ROFL.
I mean I am 100% onboard with Hatton being a rough boxer with dirty fighting but man Cortez was clearly just out to prevent Hatton doing **** lol.
Cortez wasn't on Mayweather's side, it's a boxing match not an MMA fight. Cortez actually let Hatton fight on the inside and let 'em clinch.
That explains the thirty two elbows Mayweather landed on Hatton's face the the thirteen warnings Cortiz gave without taking any action.
TS so where was the "Flush" punch that Hatton landed at 5:12? Am glad they have got rid of the Hatton bandwagon/fanatics, He had one of the most deluded fanatic around, Hatton's highlight reels are clinching,Holding, hugging and the odd bodypunching but as soon as the competition was stepped up we didnt even see one bodypunch.
I agree with most of what you said, but this part is not correct. If you look at the fight, you will notice that somewhere between the third and fifth round, Hatton hit Floyd with the same two-punch combination to the head and solar plexes that he knocked out Jose Luis Castillo with in his last fight. Hatton paused as if he was waiting for Floyd to go down. Floyd didn't flinch. I think I may have been the only one who noticed this because the announcers said nothing. So, Hatton threw the body punches. They just weren't effective

That gif is a perfect example of how Mayweather coves up all leaks in his defence. First two rounds, Hatton had some success with that, mid-late rounds, Mayweather started timing him, hitting him with a left hook everytime.
Hatton's idea of a combo is a pitty pat punch followed by a bear hug. The part you highlighted is a text book example of that, Cortez had every right stepping in.
Even when they got inside, Ricky did little...
Ricky himself said Floyd was more clever on the inside than he thought in the postfight interview...
You are correct. But that was before his handlers got to him and told him to blame his loss on the referee.
so floyd had cortez on his side and still took him 10 rounds to stop ricky?..........lol
That is true. If Floyd had taken a page from Manny's book and waited until someone else had knocked out Hatton before fighting him, then used PED's in training, he could have knocked Hatton out in two rounds. Floyd is obviously not as smart as Pacquaio.

You are full of ****. Hatton did land a punch but then he put Mayweather in a ****ing headlock. That is when Cortez broke it up. You obviously think that is okay, but this is not MMA. Hatton was doing that **** all night and Cortez was just doing his job.
You can't hold and hit, then complain that Floyd is using his forearm lol... Pactards, you are thee worst parasites to post about boxing lol... You'll say anything to favor PAc over Floyd lol... Peep this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jpv67kflECk
Mayweather was way more dirty than Hatton, Mayweather was doing most of the holding, using the elbow and ducking below the waist at every opportunity, Hatton got a point deducted for hitting behind the head (didn't even land) but Mayweather did the same when Hatton's back was turned and only got a verbal.
You seriously believe that Joe Cortez changed the outcome of the fight? What does anything Cortez did have anything to do with Hatton running into right hand leads and the final one finishing him off?
why you did not took a look at my sigs its all there man,... I am happy that someone else noticed....
Yes i checked your sigs man. So not only is it Pac who beat PBFs opponents better than Floyd. Cotto has also beat PBFs victims better than Floyd.
ANd then Pac beats Cotto in the best possible way. THey have got it right when they put pac p4p no1 thats for sure. He should be no1 ww as well though.
Facts are these...........
The only way Hatton could of hung with Mayweather, would of been if he were able to bridge the talent gap by fighting dirty, which is what he was allowed to do to beat Tszyu, only the ref was not having any of it.
If Hatton was not allowed to hold, why did he keep initiating it? why not take the hint, that ref wont allow you to do it, therefore, dont do it cause you will get penalized for it, adapt to the situation, that is what fighters are supposed to do, Hatton aint the only who has supposedly had the ref against him.
They took away Hatton best weapon, holding & hitting , which is illegal anyway, case closed.
Cortez did a poor performance, but to think a good ref would have change the outcome of the fight, you need to be a total retarded or somebody that doesnt know **** about boxing.
Cortez actually let them fight on the inside a couple of times, and Floyd was the best, so its not like if Hatton wasnt allow to fight a type a fight he could have dominated.
Dont remember saying it would change the outcome. We're talking about Cortez's performance on its own.

Well, Floyd did have a word with the ref before the fight asking the ref to help him win the fight. He said watch out for hattons dirty tactics and pretend not to see Floyds elbows.
