thats gonna cause floyd alot...ALOT of probelms man. i think floyd knows if they fight its gonna be an all out war which hes never been in. hes delaying the inevitable
Watch more floyd fights.. floyd has been in A LOT of all out wars bro.
been ready for this ****. remember, manny wasnt the one who was ready. hasnt been ready since his last fight when JMM
thats why he walked away after getting everything he wanted in nego
:bsflag: Riiiiiight...
pac use his right hand to masturbate
i use both hands to masturbate. that's probably why i am so weak and have no power in both hands.
i am actually right handed, but i like using my left hand sometimes because it feels like some else is giving me a handjob.
one other thing special about pac is his ability to throw short punches but with power. that's the reason why he can throw punches in bunches and with much speed because he doesn't need to swing much. short punches are harder to predict and therefore harder to defend with. one other notable fighter who who likes to throw short punches is joe calzaghe. i remember after his fight with roy jones, jones was asked of his comment and he said something like "i thought those pitty pats doesn't hurt but it does" lol.
Damn. Notice at the beginning that whenever Pacman shoots the straight left, the prominent move he did was ducking and moving away to avoid counters. Rolling under to avoid incoming punches. But Cotto noticed this and at 0:36 he tried to counter, timing Pacman's straight left which is open for a shot from Cotto's right hook. Technically, this is the right strategy which Cotto followed up with a left hook to the body which looked open. But seeing that whole sequence from 0:36, it just made Cotto look so bad. Cotto's counters just looked damn foolish. Damn. How the hell do you beat that? The speed difference was really the key in this fight. Plus the fact that Pacman was also making technically sound decisions in the ring was really impressive. Wow.
what happens when you get swarmed by pacquiao? you either a) exchange with him like marquez did or b) stay in orthodox, waste your energy away dodging/blocking them all like this guy
exactly. he's even more awkward to fight now than before.
With the skill set he has now....he would've easily destroyed Morales and even JMM.
Pacquiao doesn't swing as wildly anymore...like I said, he goes in a shell more now to lure and counter the opponent instead of chasing.
Pacquiao is almost a different fighter right now, his natural ability and game has evolved better than ever before. I to think Marquez would get dominated if he was to fight this version, as pacquiao has excelled as a boxer with more stability. Pacquiao has completely destroyed recent opposistion, with none even getting close to beating him. He is so awkward to fight right now, and even makes his opponents make mistakes because of it, even making his opponents pay for those mistakes because he is quick to react to it.
His left is absolutely vicious, he times it to perfection. Back then Pacman was more reliant on his straight left but his game has evolved hugely since then to, he is more awkward to fight now then he was back then.

Nice clip. I don't think Floyd is afraid of anyone, but I really think he knows Pac is trouble for him. I am sure he believes he can beat Pac, but after the countdown to contract expiring, lol and the whole vacation fiasco, it's obvious Floyd is in no hurry to fight him.
I think Pac could win a decision against Floyd. I see Floyd having major problems in the early rounds possibly getting dropped from a straight left or even right hook he won't see coming and he's at risk of getting stopped as well in the early rounds.
I think Floyd can make the necessary adjustments, to make the second half of the fight competitive, but I don't think he has enough rounds to truly solve Pac and his arsenal and by the time he does, he would be too far behind on points. Pac never stops coming and Floyd really enjoys a slower pace.
they're both special fighters (floyd and manny). but you can see Manny was one-handed back then. just used to load up the left straight and wait for an opening.
Now he throws hooks with the left instead of only straights. Also his right hand does more punching to the body, instead of feigning a jab. Now he'll go in a shell and take a punch to COUNTER with the right hook.
Manny's advanced a whole bunch with Freddie....imagine if Freddie had him under his wing since the amateurs.

Exactly, he'd have absolutely no answer for that straight left, especially if Pacquiao were to 'turn him around' with it, it'd be a nightmare for Floyd... or any fighter. May and his team don't like southpaws to begin with, they want nothing to do with one as fast, hard-hitting, and unpredictable as Manny. Floyd's style is tailor-fit to orthodox fighters he can time, that **** won't work against PacMan and he knows it, and Sr. knows it... so it's vacation time.
only the dark-skinned fighter had any sort of head movement. i would prefer to see someone breaking down how he was hitting cotto with it. that was more impressive than catching fighters moving straight back.
