Common Opponent: Jean Pascal Observations: Chad had Pascal out on his feet, Froch hurt Pascal multiple times. Id say Dawson has the bigger punch but it may not be as evident due to his superior boxing skills. Cast your vote & chime in fellas. :boxing:

considering dawsons size and speed, i'd say he has more power froch's power, is(obviously) overrated he's an accumulative puncher

Man Dawson hits harder and it isn't even debateable if you ask me. Its just that Froch throws wild haymakers all the time, and Dawson always doesn't put all his power into punches, but if you can knock down tarver and have a guy with a great chin like Pascal ready to go then you can hit hard. Karl couldn't even back up Kessler who was beaten and tossed around the ring like a red headed stepchild by Ward a while ago. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: got a problem with gingers, bully?

Froch actually clobbered Pascal around round 7/8 I believe & at this point Pascal ducked and grabbed onto Carl's waistline for dear life. That punch was far harder than anything Dawson threw.

Carl Froch without a doubt. Dawson still has decent power though.

Dawson has better technique that can deliver great power with his speed, but Froch has more raw power as his technique is much poorer in comparison...yet still delivers punishment. Also, Pascal is far more comfortable at 175, so for Dawson to stun him like that was impressive, but Pascal is known to tire in the late rounds. Froch had Pascal hurt several times, but at 168...Pascal didn't look as strong and comfortable.

Froch, I just think the reason pascal was flat on his feet was because he fought with a hell of a lot more movement against dawson than he did against froch, hence him tiring earlier
