The closer this fight gets the more I think Dawson will have to pitch a near shut out, or stop Pascal to win. Pascal is a tough SOB, and will make all the rounds close, and might even win them with his combination of speed, power, athleticism and having a good chin to back it all up. Bad chad better be on his A game if he wants to keep that 0 alive man.
just because Pascal was beat by Froch doesn't mean Froch is a better fighter than Dawson .. the triangle theory doesn't work.. Actually Froch isn't all that good at all.. he's just tough as nails.. and has a big heart ..
Don't sleep on Froch his fundamentals are better than you think Kessler only narrowly beat him.
Pascal lost to him because Froch's workrate was insane. if Pascal's workrate can beat Dawson then I dare so Froch's might too.
he lost to carl fukkin froch for fukk sake
and your opening sentence is confusing...
If there's one golden rule to forum posting mate it is:
1) Don't post things people can quote you on later to make you look bad!
:boxing::boxing: OUCH!!!!!! :boxing::boxing:

I won me som money on this fight.. They had Pascal at +275 which is ridiculous especially given the circumstances of the fight.. I took that in a second. It was pASCALS night no two ways about it.. dude is a good fighter.. this is probably gonna go down as his career performance.. Because I think Dawson will com back and take the rematch if it goes down..
Pascal already giving Dawson the "he's the man" point. Dawson was even kind enough to give Pascal his belt back so he could pose with it one last time.

in boxing ANYTHING is possible
seems like it is a lot of wishful thinking from some people who wants to see every top american fighter loses I guess lol
theres been plenty of roberies in montreal but theres been many everywhere, Paulie got robbed in NJ, and he got a gift too...
Mayweather got a split on Oscar wen he basicly won a landslide...
To beat the champion you got to beat the champion, not squeeze out a win...
if its close, the champion should always get the benefit of the doult to me...
Im friends with Jean Pascal so my heart is with him, if he fights like he usually does, hes in great danger... And if his sholder gives out, hes cooked...
This being said, I hope he knocks him clean out, im a be ring side cheering!
LAVAL represent!
In addition to the fact that he's no Glen Johnson when it comes to pressuring and working his way to the inside.
Exactly, Pascal looks decent when he has a speed advantage, like against Froch. But he's in way over his head here.

I Always said that carl froch is a better fighter than dawson and finally this fight will prove it.
Well damn Pitty, if you wanna get technical about it I'm not sure, but that was one of the worst robberies I've ever seen.
No question about it. I think there was a Canadian judge, but I still can't remember for the life of me as to whether the fight was in Canada...
Yea, just like how two judges had Dawson-Johnson II 115-113 which took place in Dawson's home state.
:laff2:
There is no way Johnson realistically won more than 2 rounds in that second fight. I had it a shutout.
Is Pascal's reach really the listed 67"? Seems like that's going to be a huge problem when trying to land on the taller, longer and faster Dawson.
