...or do you guys believe he really is the real deal?
I think the division has been a talented division in recent years, now the top talent also are all pretty young in boxing years and all have good smack talk.
So it seems like everyone is trying to talk themselves up as #1. But no one at 140 is #1 until they fight each other. It was Hatton, then Pacman beat him. Pacman is gone back to 147-150, so now it is up for grabs in the ring.
I agree the only big name so to speak hes beaten was pauli malignaggi. All those 140 pounders have 2 fight each other to prove who is the best. How about a super six at 140 pounds? Its working at 168 & it seems to be the only way to get these guys 2 fight each other. Hope they do it now before they move up n weight or someone is upset by a lesser fighter.
Nobody is the 'best' at 140lbs right now its just a matter of opinion, nobody has really proved themselves to be no.1.
The majority of the top guys at LWW are young and have a lot to learn, but clearly have loads of talent whilst still making 'young fighter' mistakes
I agree with this. Alexander's and Bradley's last fights were not impressive. Khan's was against Malignaggi and although he looked good that was not a stern enough test to make clear cut judgements of where he is at. Ortiz's last performance was credible and with the recent shake up Madaina's stock is up.These guys need to fight eachother then we can see who is best but right now it is wide open with no obvious dominant fighter.

you think all the other 140lbers would have shutout a seasoned paulie just like he did?
Bradly and Alexander beat Paulie in dominating fashion.
Not sure if Khan could beat Witter(The one Bradley fought), Peterson or Urango.
I would favor Abregu over Khan.
Hes like a big Prescott.
