Marquez Vs. Cotto = Explosion!!!

yeah thats great, a washed up fighter taking on a guy who couldnt carry the weight to save his life. i wouldnt be surprised if theres an explosion though, thats often the case when sucking is involved.

pfftt... if marquez was a natural welterweight he would make cotto quit sooner than margarito did. Too much weight difference. Marquez does not belong over 135, and some might argue 130 but as long as he's beating the Juan Diaz's lightweight is alright.

Yeah, and Cotto is an OFFENSIVE FIGHTER! Imagine how many rounds would that last, considering that Mayweather, as you say it played DEFENSIVE and he lasted 12 rounds. Marquez is my boy but I don't see him staying that long with Cotto. I really hope this is a joke thread...

I feel Marquez can take on any other legitament welterweight, he fought the MOST DEFENSIVE fighter in the world and stood 12 rounds with him, any other welterweight I think marquez can break them down and KNOCK THEM OUT! Maybe down the road when cotto gets out of his TR contract! OMG :pat:

This fight would be fun match up. I Can't hepl but wonder how it would play out since both fighters have such great skills. Marquez was able to go up to fight Mayweather so maybe he can go up to fight Miguel and make this thing happen. :boxing::boxing: Marquez vs valuev = the big bang

Marquez vs. Cotto = Marquez beaten into retirement. Just give it up, Marquez is not going to be able to compete with any elite fighters at 140 or 147.

Horrible match-up.. Marquez has horrible defense with his right side..that'll be hook central for Cotto..Marquez doesn't belong anywhere above 135...that's his weightclass..
