Briggs is way past his prime, semi retired and inactive. I am suprised he is being offered up as a sacrificial lamb and that he is some how getting a title shot. When Vitali is done with him I hope all praise is done with all this in mind.

Briggs really doesn't know what he's in for; the guy is lucky is going to be in Germany because if it was in the US it'd be labelled a hate crime with the beating he's going to receive. Seriously Briggs has no chance first two rounds or not. Vitali'll be the biggest guy he's ever fought and Vitali is not intimidated by anyone - Briggs will not scare him. Briggs thinks his power will help him KO Vitali early but he's wrong. Briggs is there to be hit and Vitali loves to trade with fighters who have no footwork and sod all stamina. This fight's ending early but I hope it shuts Briggs up for good because I'm fed up with him bashing the Klits for so long. An old washed up puncher isn't going to be the one to beat Vitali, it's going to be someone younger who can outwork him over 12 rounds. valuev has no skill or speed. i think briggs speed and decent skills give him a better chance than valuev

this fight reminds me of why I dont like the HW division anymore Briggs should have been out of title contention years ago

If Briggs actually got down to about 240lbs he might have a small chance. But if it's the same Briggs we've seen over the past few years then he can forget about it. Briggs does have the size and power, but he doesn't offer much else. He has always been far too easy to hit. Briggs' career has been a big disappointment. The one chin.k in Vitali's armour that we have seen is cuts. We have only seen this once because Lennox Lewis is the only man to hit him hard and hit him often. Briggs simply doesn't have the stamina to do that.

Wlad vs Briggs is more interesting and explosive fight. Vitali is going to wear down Briggs,6th, TKO.
