WOW, so Pacquiao fans are saying Cotto is shot, and that Floyd would be cherry picking by fighting him. Now isn't this what we tried to tell you guys about Pacquiao fighting, Margarito and Mosley? I mean you guys did call Mosley old and shot and said that Floyd was picking on a old man.

Cotto really looked like **** against a talentless and tactically stupid Mayorga and Steward wasn't correcting his own stupid flaws. That weak defense really needs a makeover (like that dumb one armed parry he that he thinks is cool but in reality makes him look like a moron) or he'll remain a punching bag for the likes of Margarito with or without the cinder block pads. Only thing he got going against Floyd is that Floyd ain't no volume puncher and more defensive minded, but this is a more legit match up than Floyd bullying a small fighter like JMM. Cotto is the better Manny leftover than JMM. :biggthump

Cotto vs Mayweather is still a very marketable fight though, I personally don't want to see it because I think it would be a COMPLETE MISMATCH and a very one sided boxing Clinic by Mayweather, even in his PRIME I never thought Cotto had much of a chance against Mayweather's Speed

Cotto would represent Mayweather's greatest challenge in over 5-6 years Its silly to say that Cotto has 0 chance. Mayweather fights at a pace and style that is comfortable for Miguel Cotto. I'm not saying Cotto will win, but it won't be a white wash. Mayweather has faced extremely soft competition and hasn't fought anyone credible (except DLH ...just barely credible). Mayweather has fought either past prime fighters or smaller fighters since his move to ''elite'' status. If Mayweather even had the cojones to step into the ring with Miguel, I would give him tremendous respect. I think its high time we start saying that Mayweather is extremely overrated right now. Until he fights someone more capable, these fantasy fights he's always winning just keep overrating him.
